"Should we cut off your left arm and hand it over... and then beg for our lives?" Gyro was trying to think of ways to remedy the current situation. "Or could we beat Dio within three minutes?" His gaze went over to you, "Oh!Didn't he say something about wanting to partner up with you for the race? Maybe you could act like you want to join his side but then stab him in the back!"

"I don't know if that would work. Though I guess if we run out of options, it's worth a shot. But I don't think we even have time for something like that." You didn't think Diego was stupid by any means, so you doubted he would fall for something like that anyway.

"Dio unleashed more of those dinosaur mice!" Johnny could see them from the corner of his eye.

"Don't move! Don't move no matter what!" Gyro pressed his back further against the hiding spot. "Just ignore those for now!"

"Don't you get it?!" Johnny pointed to the yellowish stain on Gyro's clothes. "We have their piss on us! That's what they're after! Their aim is fixed! We have to fight them or we'll be killed!"

You raised a brow. "You... let the dinosaur mice piss on you?"

"No, we didn't let them. It just kinda happened." Gyro thought it was important to clarify that to you. "And there's one more thing we have to do besides fight. In the next three minutes we have to get the holy corpse from across that cliff! The progression of your wounds is getting slower, Johnny. The scales on your left arm are fading away. It must be because of corpse part in your left hand! (Y/N) and I are the only ones turning into dinosaurs. So if we get our hands on the next part, we might be able to negate our infections, too!"

"They found us!" Johnny was about to give up as he saw Diego and his mice army zooming in on the hiding spot.

"I told you to ignore them. Face this way." Gyro pointed to an area clear of dinosaurs. "See! There's an opening to the canyon! Here we go! Jump off, guys!"

"What?" Johnny still hadn't quite prossesed the plan until he was dragged over the cliffside with Gyro. "There's no way we can jump across! It's too far!"

"Go, Johnny! Go! Go! Go!" Still in mid air and with the Joestar hanging on to his legs, Gyro threw his steel balls at a tree. The bark unraveled into a makeshift rope. "There's no way to jump across... for them! Unless Dio is a dinosaur with wings, that is..."

"Like a pterodactyl?" You clasped Gyro's hand, pulling him up the mountain once he had climbed enough of the tree bark. Soon you did the same for Johnny. You had made it over before them since Kars could fly and all that.

"Look. I don't know the names of different dinosaurs." So Gyro didn't want you to bother with identifying them. "It's actually kinda weird that you know so much. Were you a paleontologist or something?"

"I've been to a few museums here and there. Kars also enjoys researching them." You gestured to your Stand. "He's fond of pretty much all life forms. Except most humans, I guess."

"He doesn't like humans? But isn't he...?" Johnny tilted his head, confused.

"Human? Oh goodness no. You humans destroy everything you touch. You have no respect for nature." Kars was offended at the thought. "But me? I am the Ultimate Being."

"Ultimate Being...?" Gyro turned to you for an explanation. "Like a god or something?"

"A god?" You looked up at Kars. "Sure. Why not? And I'm pretty sure his kind were sometimes viewed as deities back in the day, anyway."

Johnny shook his head, getting himself to focus on what was more important. "We have to get going! The dino's are trying to climb up to us from below!"
