"Hey, (Y/N)... what's going on?" As the resident Stand expert, Hermès assumed you must somehow know. "Including us, there are seven people here."

"Do you think one of them is an enemy?" You supposed it was possible. "Like they snuck in with their Stand?"

"Exactly!" Hermès was glad you knew what she was on about, "As soon as we got close to that tractor, it was like another person just arrived here. But I didn't ever get a good look at the others' faces. Do you guys remember what everyone looked like?"

Jolyne didn't like the time that was being wasted as the guard drove farther and farther away through the marsh. "Maybe you just counted wrong? Did the warden really say 'six'?"

"Please, just think about whose face you remember." Hermès was adamant on not having just heard things wrong. "Even one will help."

Jolyne figured she might as well give her the benefit of the doubt. "I'm not really sure. I was solely focused on running. But... they all have bracelets."

"The one in the overalls." You pointed to the green haired girl. "She was standing in front of me back when the warden asked for volunteers. I know that she raised her hand."

And right after you said that, the same girl mumbled, "Were there seven of us from the start?"

Hermès rushed over to her, glad for some assurance that she wasn't crazy. "What you just said... you're thinking the same thing! There are seven now, but there were six before, right? Do you know when the seventh person arrived?"

Overalls seemed weirded out with all the questions. "No. Maybe I'm just misremembering. And besides, six or seven, what difference does it make to me?"

"She was with me from the beginning." Added the one with a shaved head. Her statement further proved your own. "Her name is Atroe. Everyone in the prison bullies her. That's why she volunteered to come out here, where there are no bullies. Right?"

Atroe was uncomfortable with all the sudden attention. "I don't... know you." And she shifted away from the crowd.

Beep beep beep

"H-Hey, what the hell?! Why is my bracelet making noise?!" Jolyne stared down at her bracelet in terror.

You looked around, "Everyone's are. But there's why! The guard's gone!" You pointed to the vehicle that the guy had been driving around. It was now sinking into the water.

Everyone waded through the marsh to get a closer look. Shaved head went first to inspect. "The bike's covered in blood!"

"So the bracelets are beeping because he's still too far..." Realized Jolyne.

"Don't tell me... He fell into the water and it's washing him away?" Hermès didn't feel like searching around for another person, but she also didn't feel like dying.

"Everyone, find the guard!" You decided to take charge. "He should be around fifty meters from us if the bracelets only started beeping now." Too nervous for their own lives to ignore you, nearly everyone started to spread out and search through the marsh.

Except Atroe, who had decided to stay away from the crowd. "H-Hold on! M-My bracelet's noise is g-getting louder!"

She exploded. Blood stained the water and smoke wafted from her now dead body.

"Aah!! She's dead!" Screamed ponytail. The others let out similar gasps of fright.

"I found him! He's over here!" You had kept searching. Fretting over some dead stranger would only waste time.
