"There's no way I can do this, Gyro!" Cried out Johnny. "There's no way I can do this, just like that! Why are you doing this?! There's absolutely no way! There! I said it three times! Now show me your belt buckle! You've been training in the art of steel balls since you were a child, right? There's no way that you can expect me to do something like that on a whim!" He kept his arms moving in order to stay afloat in the river. "There, I said it again! If there really is such a thing as infinite spin, then you have to show me the belt buckle, or else I won't have a starting point!"

"I'm only counting that as one, by the way. Which means..." Gyro held up two fingers. "I'll give it to you after you say it two more times."

"What?! Is this some sort of test? This is no time to be playing games!" The Joestar still didn't understand why the Zeppeli refused to give the belt to him until later. "The enemy is up to something. He probably already knew that we were going to escape into the river. Slowly, little by little, he's trying to surround us with an elaborate trap!"

"Johnny, calm down. You have two more. Say that you can't do it."

To you it seemed like Gyro actually wanted Johnny to say he couldn't do it. He must really care about the Zeppeli traditions. Then you noticed some more creatures lining up along the river bank. "Careful, guys. Those things will probably do something."

"What kind of dinosaurs are those?" Asked Gyro, assuming now that you probably knew.

"I don't think they are dinosaurs. They seem to just be green blobs with legs. What do you think, Wamuu?"

The Pillar Man was treading water next to you. "It does not appear to be an organism I've seen before." His eyes scanned through the corn. "We should try to locate the user. From what I can tell, there are two people nearby." He pointed ahead and then to the right.

"Wait, those monsters are doing something!" Johnny could see words drifting along the surface of the water. Simply by dipping their toes into the river, they were able to send the sound out to you. "Something is already coming this way! It's spreading!"

"Johnny, hurry up and shoot!" Shouted Gyro. "I don't care where! Just shoot wherever you think the enemy is!"

All of you ducked your heads under the water, there were way more sound effects than what you could see from the surface.

Johnny grabbed Gyro by the neck. "Just give me the buckle, right now!" He didn't want to wait any longer.

The Zeppeli punched the Joestar up through the surface of the water. "No! I can't give it to you until you say you 'can't do it' four times! That's the Zeppeli family rule! Once we break our own rule, it'll be the end! I explained everything to you! This is lesson 4! Pay your respects!"

You turned to the Pillar Man, "You can't really do anything here, can you? We need to get you out of the water."

Wamuu nodded. "To use my Atmospheric Rift I pull in air through the tubes in my torso. Doing it while submerged in water would just pull water in instead, bringing the sounds along with it. I'd likely be torn up from the inside."

"Ah!" Johnny brought out Tusk and just fired repeatedly into the corn field.

Because this cut some of the stalks down, you could make out someone standing in the field. "Higashikata?"

"No! This isn't the power I need! There's no way I can do this!" Johnny had his third exclamation of his own incapability. "We're not going to make it! The sounds are already here!"

Gyro submerged himself under the water again. He moved his hands in a rhythmic motion, creating a sphere of water that he could shoot toward the sounds. "I can only defend against the sounds with it for a split moment... but... this guy's ability is to solidify sounds. Shit. I get it now. What an annoying enemy. But there are some sounds that can't be heard as well, so we couldn't see them. Also, when they intersect, they multiply. There were sounds that I couldn't account for, that I couldn't defend against."
