"D-Dad!" Jolyne reached an arm toward Jotaro. She had just gotten him back in her life. She couldn't bear to see him ripped away once more.

"Jolyne! Behind you! He's coming again!" Emporio was just as concerned, but he didn't want Jolyne to get hurt while worrying for her father.

Giorno moved behind Jolyne to guard her back. He had many issues with what his own dad had been doing as of late, but he was still certain Dio wouldn't want to hurt his own son. GER's actions, or lack thereof, had practically confirmed that.

"Jotaro!" You had quickly clasped a hand over his throat. You were shaking slightly as you watched the blood leak through the gaps between your fingers. But anything less and he would've bled to death already. "Giorno! Can you fix him?!"

"Bruno's zippers will probably be enough for now. I'm worried that taking the time to transform something to fit into the gash in his neck would take too long." The last thing Giorno wanted was for Jotaro to bleed to death because he was taking too much time.

You could understand what he meant. It was part of the reason you were wary of stopping the bleeding with your own blood. Letting yourself bleed for even a little might be too long. You didn't want to end up passing out from blood loss again. The first time had been embarrassing enough.

"Yeah... I got this, (Y/N)." Sticky Fingers immediately zipped the wound shut. "It'll probably be best to avoid talking too much, for now, Jotaro." Not that the Kujo was a ever a man of many words.

Anasui just stood there, watching. He had been standing closest to Jotaro. Sure, there had been plenty of time to have Diver Down phase in and take the hit instead, but he simply didn't want to. He didn't think the Kujo was necessary for this fight, at least not now. You didn't need Jotaro's help. He could protect you all on his own.

As everyone regrouped, Pucci stopped moving in order to boast about his accomplishments. The Stand next to him was some sort of fusion between the top half of a person and the front half of a horse. Despite his first attack having not ended with much success, the priest still seemed confident, a faint smile even resting on his lips. "Perhaps Bucciarati should be first on my kill list rather than Jotaro... And although you will probably be unable to fathom it, I will tell you one last thing. Time will keep on accelerating."

He gestured toward his half-horse. "This ability is now complete. I did not acquire it to dispose of you nor was it for gaining power. It is a power to guide humanity towards true happiness. To give it a name, 'Made in Heaven.' I am disposing of you all for the sake of the future. You are sacrifices for the greater good of mankind. Except, of course..."

Pucci locked eyes with you. "(Y/N)... I understand that you have endured many hardships. But you do not have to suffer anymore. You deserve happiness, and I am the only one who will be able to give it to you." He held out his hand, urging you to take it. "It is my Made in Heaven that will allow you to obtain the true happiness that I know you deserve."

You could hardly believe that Pucci actually thought he was doing the right thing. "Don't act like you know what's best for me. You've killed and tried to kill my companions several times at this point." So you weren't going to be accepting his offer anytime soon.

"Dio..." Giorno stared straight at the vampire. "What's wrong with you? Do you enjoy lying to people that much? Is it that difficult for you to actually be a decent person for once in your existence?"

Dio's face twinged slightly from Giorno's words. He also didn't like the feeling of Giorno calling him by his name again rather than 'dad' or 'father.' Thanks to the completion of Pucci's Stand, he could slowly feel himself becoming corporeal again. He was positive that once the Heaven plan was complete, he'd be fully alive once more. But the look of utter disappointment and betrayal on his son's face was enough to get him questioning his actions again.
