"Really, Gyro? Gambling?" You watched as Gyro started taking all the cash from your bag and exchanging them for poker chips.

"Awe, have you never been to a casino before, (Y/N)?" Gyro took a seat at a table for roulette and set all of his chips down in front of him.

You took the seat on his left. "No, trust me, I've done my own fair share of gambling. But that's exactly the problem. I don't mean to sound full of myself, but my win rate is incredibly high. I'm lucky, remember?"

"And can you even use this money on a gamble where the basis is losing?" Johnny watched from over your shoulder. "Won't that turn you into a tree?"

"No, I don't think so." Gyro set a chip down on red. "I've placed a bet but nothing is happening. This roulette doesn't have a zero spot, so if we bet on black or red the chances of us winning are fifty fifty. In which case, we're not necessarily playing to lose."

The ball swirled around the roulette. The dealer read the results. "Red, 14." He pushed forward two chips.

"Red? We just won, Gyro!" Johnny grabbed him by the arm. "Now we have a thousand more dollars!"

"Well, yeah. That's gambling, Johnny." Gyro glanced toward the entryway. "Our enemies are on our trail. Watch the door for me. We don't have much time. Once we're broke, we're outta here. Let's go all in. (Y/N), pick a color."

"Let's go with black."

"Okay, then I'm choosing red." Gyro shoved forward his mountain of chips. "We'll bet everything on red."

"And here's the spin..." The dealer tossed the ball in again."

"Ack!" You felt roots beginning to protrude from your eyes and mouth. Your feet had become intertwined with the floor.

"G-Guys! There's something wrong! With my face!" But Johnny soon saw that the rest of you weren't faring much better.

Gyro's hands were fused with the table. "Shit, this is bad! I can't move my arms! The dealer... he just...! The way he flicked the ball in! He's the kind that can toss the ball so it lands on a certain spot! The way it's spinning, it's gonna fall on a black space! And I saw it happen! Shit! I know I'm gonna lose, and that's why we're turning into this tree's goddamn fruit! Johnny, you gotta take the chips off the table! We're gonna be in deep shit if you don't!"

So Johnny started trying to scoot his chips off the table.

"Please be careful, sir." Spoke the dealer. "The bet has already been called. You're not allowed to take back the bets that you've made. Please let go of those chips."

Three men in suits held shotguns to each of your heads. "Please. Immediately get your hands off the table."

"This thing is trying to drag us underground! Who the fuck cares about those bastards?!" Shouted Gyro, probably confusing a few bystanders. "Just take the chips off the table!"

"I-I can't! My hands are stuck now, too!" Though Johnny still had a free finger or two. "But the ball in the roulette, which number will it fall in?"

"What are you three doing?" The dealer could not see the branches sprouting from your limbs. "This is your last warning. I'm telling you to get your goddamn hands off the table!"

The eleven people from before funneled in through the door. Each of them began to take out their guns.

Gyro was left in a cold sweat. "Oh, shit... They found us."

"Johnny..." You stared at the ball swirling around. "I think it'll land in black, six."

So the Joestar had his nail go into the table, aiming it at the small barrier between the numbers on the roulette.
