Funny Valentine was waiting on the rooftop of a building near the alleyway you had been moments earlier. He seemed to have arrived only recently. The man who had led you there walked up to the President and began whispering into his ear.

There was a flash of anger across Valentine's face before it immediately returned to a neutral expression. "I see. You may leave now." He waited for the man to go before addressing you. "I must say, I'm surprised. Why would you want to lower yourself to such... peasant scum?"

You shrugged, deciding not to deny it. For now you had decided to play along with the little lie you were sharing with the Brando. You didn't care if the President thought you were with Diego. It didn't have anything to do with what you were there for.

Walking closer to the wall along the rooftop, you could actually see the dino man. He hadn't made any obvious signs of it, but you were sure he knew you were up here. His heightened senses would probably allow him to hear the conversation, too. You didn't exactly want him to be privy to any of the universe nonsense you'd likely be discussing with the President.

Valentine stepped next to you and followed your gaze. He could hardly hold back his disgust upon realizing you were looking at Diego. There was no way you actually cared for the jockey, right? What could you possibly hope to gain from a relationship with the Brando? Valentine placed his hand on your lower back.

You turned to him, once again surprised by just how quiet his movements were. "Funny," You still couldn't believe that was actually his name. "do you think we could go somewhere a little more... private?"

"Oh?" He raised an eyebrow, intrigued by the proposition. "Very well." If you were implying what he thought you were, perhaps he could ignore your actions with the Brando just this once. Based on the info given to him, it didn't seem like the two of you had been able to fully go through with the act, anyhow.

A few minutes later, he had brought you to his hotel suite.

You stepped ahead of him into the main room. "Shall we get started, then?" You didn't want to be here any longer than you needed to.

"Eager now, are we?" He began unbuttoning his shirt, your back still facing him. He was beginning to think you might not be so different from the other you after all.

"Of course I am. It's been more than a month. Wouldn't you feel the same?" You really wanted to go back to your universe. Or, at the very least, know that there was a way to get there without the spider.

"Trust me." Valentine placed his shirt on the backrest of a nearby chair as he approached you from behind. "I know how you feel all too well."

"You do...?" You started to turn to him, very much confused. Was he saying he was also from another universe?

Valentine's arms wrapped around you, hands beginning to tug up on your shirt as he kissed along your neck. He had misinterpreted your words and was under the impression that you wanted to take up the other (Y/N)'s role as his mistress. An offer he had suggested during your last meeting together.

"What the hell?!" You immediately shoved him away, bringing out your Stand at the same time just in case. "I'm just here to talk about the letter without Diego listening in. If you're going to try something again, I'm leaving."

Wamuu looked from you to the President while you mentally caught him up with the situation.

Valentine let out an amused chuckle. "Perhaps I misunderstood your intentions, then." He'd have to remind himself that you were indeed a different person from the woman he had known. While you were indeed similar in name and appearance, your behaviors and personalities were quite different. And despite what he really wanted to do, it would probably be better if he didn't scare you off completely. So he wouldn't push you further just yet. Valentine was sure there would still be plenty of time for you to warm up to him.
