Eventually the guards found you, Jolyne, and Hermès. They rushed the Costello to the medical ward, but you and the Cujoh were brought in for questioning. You had agreed beforehand to refuse to answer any of their questions in the hopes of getting sent to the punishment ward. Your efforts proved successful.

A pair of guards dragged you down the halls, your hands and feet cuffed together. "Prisoner number FE40707, name: (Y/N) (L/N)! This is the second time you've been caught up in a problematic situation. First with what happened in the courtyard and now we've found a dead prisoner shoved into the pipes and the blood of a missing prisoner in the cemetery. Various deaths and injuries have occurred around you as you continue to affiliate yourself with Jolyne Cujoh. You refuse to explain anything that has happened."

"From now on you only have permission to have one meal a day and one shower a day! Through these strict rules we will straighten you out!" They chucked you into a nearly empty cell, barely taking the time to remove the metal from your wrists and ankles. "The duration of your stay here is undecided. From now on, you'll stay in this ultra security punishment ward!" Then the metal door was slammed shut behind you, locking in place.

You sat up, dusting yourself off with your recently uncuffed hands. The walls were padded and you had a rickety mattress in the corner along with a hole in the ground that would have to pass for a toilet. A tray had also been left behind, with a small loaf of bread and a cup of soup.

"It's... it's another woman!" Exclaimed a voice coming from a different cell.

"Oooohhhh... We're so lucky!"

"Mmmmm... I can smell her from here..."

"Stay away from the door. They might try to hit you with their shit." Jolyne leaned against the wall of her cell, which just so happened to be next to yours. She was speaking from experience.

"Thanks for the advice." You took a seat down on the mattress, causing a few cockroaches to skitter out from underneath. It seemed like one of the previous inhabitants of your room had spent a whole heck of a lot of time digging a hole into the wall between your cell and Jolyne's. Probably a peeping Tom.

"It's kinda funny. The guards are convinced your my partner in crime or something, yet they still decide to put you next to me." Jolyne took a bite out of the bread she was given, brushing off a centipede. "You'd think they'd be worried about us plotting something."

You shrugged. "They're probably thinking that we won't be able to do anything here." You glanced at the Cujoh. You couldn't see her very well, but she already seemed pretty tired. "Are you going to be okay, Jolyne? Until we get out of here, you'll only be getting one meal a day. I'll be fine without it, so you can have my meals, as well. I'd probably need to widen this hole here, though, before I can actually pass anything through."

"Well... as long as the guard's aren't looking..." Jolyne made her string move through the barred window of her door and through yours, "These gaps are at least big enough to fit the bread through." So you handed it over to the string so it could be brought back to its user. "Thanks."

"Don't mention it. You just need to conserve your strength." You knew that the bone was near the punishment ward somewhere, you could almost feel it. "I don't doubt we'll end up in another Stand battle soon enough."

...

"Oh, come on! You can't tell me that you haven't thought about it at least once!" Dio was currently tied up in a chair. Ever since he started to fade out, his strength had decreased at an exponential rate, so he wasn't quite able to break through the chains the others had decided to wrap around him. Not like the restraints would actually stop him from fully leaving the void room when the process was finished. "Wouldn't you rather be out of this place?" There was also no way he could be fine with having to continue sharing you with all of them. You were meant to be his. That's how it was supposed to be since the beginning.

"Perhaps." Kars sat across from Dio, nice and comfortable on the couch. The rest of the void gang was sitting around him. "But we obviously don't act on that desire. Because of that we've been able to create and actually maintain a bond with (Y/N), something that would have never been possible while alive."

"Except me!" Boasted Narancia. "(Y/N) never had a problem getting along with me!" His gaze fell to the floor. "Even so, I wouldn't want to come back to life now. All my friends are like ten years older than before and... I like hanging out with all of you here."

Wamuu placed a hand on the Ghirga's head. "We know, little Nara. We feel the same way. We've been able to have more than we did while alive. I've been able to feel the Sun's warmth without having to use the Red Stone of Aja..." The Pillar Man turned back to the vampire, sending a glare in his direction. "I do not know why you would choose this path, one called Dio. Do you not have enough? Why throw it away?"

Dio's shoulder's slumped, his expression conflicted, "Do you think... do you think I don't know that? Do you think I want Giorno and (Y/N) to despise me forever because of this?! I want to be a good father for him, I want (Y/N) to actually care about me! But..." He paused taking a deep breath, then he shook his head, "I've been working on this ever since I became (Y/N)'s Stand for the first time. I can't... I can't just stop now... No..." He looked down at himself, "It's too late to stop now even if I wanted to..."

"Then tell us who your friend is." Yoshikage spoke up for the first time. He hadn't had much to say earlier, having only been a void resident for less than a day. "Who is Whitesnake's user?" Dio's eyes narrowed in response. "You're saying all of this to convince yourself that somehow you're in the right for going through with this stupid decision of yours. But if you want us to actually believe any of your nonsense, then prove it to us by saying who Whitesnake's user is. Then we'll tell (Y/N) and together we'll take care of him. I'm just letting you know that if you had ever actually wanted to stop this, you still have the option."

Dio grit his fanged teeth but didn't make a sound, keeping his gaze trained on the floor. He'd make all of them pay for trying to humiliate him like this. He just needed to wait for Pucci to complete the next few steps of his plan. Then he'd remove your Stand disc and he could say goodbye to them forever. He could burn all their items, too, just for good measure.

Kars let out a sigh. "I see. So this is what you choose. No matter. You've already died once before. We'll gladly ensure that it happens again."

...

"Are you doing okay, (Y/N)?" Asked Jolyne. You had been silent for a lengthy period of time.

"Just... thinking." A little bit ago, Yoshikage had told you about what the vampire had said. "I should really be contacting Giorno."

"That's the gangster, right? The leader of passion or whatever? Dio's son? Why do you want to bring him out here?" She couldn't imagine he'd be all too thrilled to join a fight against his own dad.

"Well, I just think if anyone is capable of getting Dio to stop this whole fiasco, it's Giorno. I've seen it before. Dio may lie about a lot of things, but I know that he truly does want to be a good father. To prove himself as different from his own dad." You knew Dio saw his own father as some of the worst scum to have graced this planet. He'd never want to stoop to that level. "For Giorno, that's the only time I've seen him truly try to change. Dio's always been weirdly possessive over me and hungry for power. It's when he's away from his son that he starts slipping back into those old habits. Plus, even if that doesn't work, Giorno's Stand will probably be a big help."

"I guess it'd be worth a shot." Mumbled Jolyne. When you didn't respond she tried to change the topic to continue the conversation. She wasn't exactly a big fan of the deafening silence. "There are mushrooms along the side of my bed." She tossed one out onto the floor, watching as some bugs started to eat them.

"I know you might be hungry, but I'd recommend not eating the strange fungi growing out of the furniture." You didn't want her getting sick.

"Eh, the bugs ate one. I'm sure it's fine." So she plucked a handful and got to munching.

"Uh... okay. Suit yourself. But I don't doubt that Whitesnake must have heard by now about what happened. There's probably already some Stand users here. So just... be careful."
