"(Y/N), do you think Gyro know about this? Could he be after these parts, too?" Johnny wasn't really sure what to think then. Would Gyro try to take the mummy hand from him?

"I don't think so. Or else he probably would've reacted a bit more to you stumbling upon one. We can still ask him, though." You pointed to a steel ball that Gyro must've dropped somewhere with the enemy's Stand. It had dug a short way through the sand, presumably pointing out where to find him and the enemy. "Must be by that rock mountain over there."

Johnny found a dead tree and began using his nails to carve it into the shape of a human body. "I think we should crawl while partially buried under the desert sand. That way we can hide from the enemy. But I might be able to use this trunk as a decoy at some point."

"While you do that, maybe you could think up some kind of name for your Stand. That way you don't need to just refer to your Stand as 'thing' or 'it' all the time." Though you wondered if all corpse parts could grant Stands. And as someone who already had a Stand, would getting your hands on one increase your power or grant you a new ability altogether?

"A name...?" Johnny furrowed his brow. "Okay, I'll try and think of one." Then he started digging into the sand.

"Here. I shall assist you." Wamuu's arms began to spin at an incredible pace, creating an actual sandstorm. "We can use this storm as cover from the enemy. Cover your nose and mouth if possible." Johnny pulled up the front his shirt and you used Dio's scarf as Wamuu hoisted both of you up along with the carved tree and began sprinting through the storm he had created.

"What the hell?!" This was not one of the things Johnny had expected to do when taking part in the Steel Ball Run.

"Is the way I'm holding you uncomfortable? Would you prefer to sit on my shoulders?" Inquired Wamuu, maintaining a steady pace as he traveled the one hundred or so meters.

"N-No! I'm good..." He didn't want to upset the incredibly intimidating two meter tall man. "But, um, what did (Y/N) name you?" He thought it could give him some ideas.

"Name me?" Wamuu looked down at you in his right arm. "Did you want to give me a new name, (Y/N)?"

"No, not at all. I just don't think Johnny has quite realized that everyone my Stand can become was living at some point. The man you see before you right now, Johnny, is named Wamuu." You hoped that helped clear up some of his misunderstandings.

Right as the sand settled down and the man made storm ended, you and Johnny had hunkered down by some rocks near where both the enemy and Gyro were. The enemy had some bamboo tied around his head along with an egg or two resting on the top.

Several meters away, Johnny could make out the hooks again, except they floated around aimlessly, "Sweet! The enemy has completely lost track of us. Now we just need to get down Gyro." The Italian was left hanging by his hair that had been tied around a rock jutting from a cliffside.

But then Slow Dancer was dropped in from a feather. "Huh?! What?! That's my horse!" Johnny's steed starting trotting over to your shared hiding place.

You watched as Slow Dancer walked a few steps before running in your direction, "It would seem bamboo guy is using your horse to find you." It was then that a yellowish liquid was spilled out the ground near you. After a quick whiff, you could tell what it was. "Kerosene?" A lit match was thrown down, immediately setting the trail ablaze.

"I-It's okay, (Y/N)! I prepared for a situation like this!" Johnny tossed into the fire the dead tree he had carved in the shape of a person. The hooks latched onto it, assuming the tree was Johnny's burning body. "This ability has far surpassed a simple nail. It's a tusk. From now on I will call this Tusk." The Joestar aimed his nails at the feather. "(Y/N), you go get Gyro. I'll take care of this guy."
