"Muda! Muda! Muda!" Diego screeched the phrase at the top of his lungs, perhaps in an attempt to hide the immense pain he was feeling for having his leg cut off. "The rotation... take it for yourself!"

The World's severed leg hit Johnny, passing the infinite rotation over to him. In but a few seconds, the Joestar's whole body began spinning about in individual sections. He attempted to shoot, but he could no longer keep his hand steady enough to aim.

Diego managed to stand up on his remaining leg, deciding to take the severed one along with him. His work here was done.

Your hand shot outward, catching what had just been thrown at you. It was still spinning slightly in the palm of your hand.

"I think you need that more than I do." Gyro had a faint smile on his face as Valkyrie was now sprinting past you. "I told you guys not to do anything stupid."

"I mean, I was just about to make my own steel ball, but..." You started spinning it in the opposite direction as the the infinite rotation currently affecting Johnny. "Thanks, Gyro."

A few seconds later, Diego was back on his horse despite his wounded leg. He eyed you curiously as you started moving in the direction opposite of himself: Toward Johnny. Were you actually capable of doing something to help the guy?

Diego just laughed it off. What did it matter? He'd just make his way to where he was supposed to hide the corpse and get his job over with.

"Diego, after he just finished crossing Brooklyn Bridge, is still a good twenty meters behind Gyro Zeppeli." The announcer was still confused with what was going on with the race, but that wouldn't stop him from doing his job. "Soon he will be running left past the front of City Hall. But did he fall off his horse back at the bridge? His right leg appears to be injured. Only he and Gyro remain separate from the pack, as they reach the final stretch to the finish line!"

"Okay, Moxy." You leaned closer to her ears. "I need you to run in the Golden Ratio. That's what will let us save Johnny. I know you've never been the biggest fan of other people, but... I believe you can do it."

Moxy gave her head a shake, her mane fluttering about in the wind. While previously she had not been entirely sure of what exactly the Golden Ratio entailed, she had since witnessed both Slow Dancer and Valkyrie do it. Moxy was confident she could achieve the same feat herself.

You threw the steel ball at Johnny. As it left your fingertips, you could already feel that you had done it right. That you had managed to throw it in that special Spin that created an infinite rotation.

The second it touched the Joestar, the rapid movement of his body came to a stop. While he was still processing it all, Kars reached down and pulled Johnny off the ground and plopped him behind you on the horse.

"What's this?!" The announcer did a double take. "Are (Y/N) and Johnny now riding together on Moxy Früvous? After teaming up for so long, are they that determined to cross the finish line together? Obviously, since Johnny isn't on his own horse, he'll no longer be a contender for the prize money. However, (Y/N) is still in the running. Will the extra weight slow her horse down?"

Johnny hesitantly wrapped his arms around your waist as you had Moxy turn around yet again to head back on course. The leading pack, who were still fairly behind Diego and Gyro, had just about caught up with you.

The Joestar's voice came out muffled as his face smooshed against your back. "Thank you, (Y/N)..."

"If anything, you should be thanking Moxy. I couldn't do the special rotation without her. But I'm a little surprised." You gave her a good scratch behind the ears. "She's not even complaining that you got on."
