Dwelling within the Abyss

You stared at the vampire, expression unchanging. "For someone who claims to care for their kids, you didn't really seem to have a problem throwing them at your enemies."

Dio stood up from his chair. "That's not true! I didn't want to have them fight against all of you. That was Pucci's idea. He viewed my sons as disposable. If they did die he would just think of it as a necessary sacrifice for the Heaven plan." He stepped toward the Giovanna. "If the plan went on for much longer, he might have even tried to kill you, Giorno. I know you have GER and all, but that's not something worth risking."

Giorno listened intently to his father's words. "I believe you." Having talked with his brothers, he already knew that the priest had been the one pushing them to fight. "Now, I have another question for you. Did you know about the spider's plan?"

Dio's brow furrowed in confusion, "Plan? She had a plan?" He knew the spider usually preferred to go with the flow in order to be more surprised by things going on in the world. It wasn't like the spider had to worry about her own safety or anything. She was probably more immortal than you were.

Giorno let a small smile spread across his face. "So you didn't know. Good." The Giovanna had no way of truly knowing if Dio was telling the truth about it, but he wanted to be able to believe his own father. He wanted things to go back to how they were before Dio met up with Pucci.

"Welp, you can keep talking to him if you want. I'm going to hang out with the others while I still have a chance." You didn't want to be around Dio any longer than you needed to. "When you're done, tell me what you want to do and I'll take it into consideration." You then crawled out of the tunnel.

"Did he say anything?" Narancia immediately floated into your line of sight. "Cause I've been beginning to wonder if he went mute or something."

You let him lead you over to a chair to sit down in, "He spoke just fine. He said he's been thinking about things."

"So what do you plan on doing with him?" Asked Yoshikage as he and the others gathered around you. The couch was cushionless so it wouldn't exactly make for the most comfortable seat. And they were all just fine with staying as close to you as possible.

Kars started combing his fingers through your hair, "Your free to make your own decision, but I would recommend simply destroying his scarf altogether. Chuck it into a volcano or submerge it in a vat of acid. Also, Giorno is of the same blood as him so I would advise not to trust any of his words, either." It would suffice to say that Kars had a slight grudge against the vampire.

"I'll... keep your advice in mind. But what do the rest of you think?" Their opinions were important to you.

"Well, Giorno's my friend so I'm okay with whatever he wants." Piped in Narancia. "I liked that cow suit guy, too. If they want to spend time with their dad, I think it's okay to at least have that." Narancia didn't really have much against the vampire. Dio never really participated in much of the games he played, but he'd still like to consider him his friend. They had been living together for ten years, after all. Which still felt like a long time to Narancia.

"You could always get some rules written in him like you've done with me, if you're worried about him doing something." Suggested Yoshikage. "Otherwise I would be against the idea."

Wamuu glanced at Kars before giving his own two cents. "With it still only being a few weeks since you left prison, I don't think he deserves to be your Stand again. Although, I wouldn't go so far as to irrevocably destroy the scarf. If you can think of a service or tasks for him to complete while still confined to the void room, perhaps he could work his way up to being your Stand again."

You jotted their ideas down on a notebook Narancia had handed to you. "All right. Thank you."

"Since you're here, would you like to play a game with us, (Y/N)?" Narancia was excited to have you visiting. Before you could even respond, he went to go search through the cabinets for something fun.
