You, Johnny, and Gyro chased Oyecomova at full speed. Mountain Tim had been wounded far too much to join in on the pursuit. Any bags you had been able to salvage from the exploded hotel room had been strapped back onto your horses.

"Johnny, (Y/N)..." Gyro had his body angled toward the two of you as Valkyrie continued chasing after the enemy. "He's my enemy! I'll finish him off before he gets over the mountain! It's my country's problem, not yours!"

"No, Gyro. Of course I'm coming with you." Johnny wasn't going to abandon his new teammate.

"Exactly. You don't have to face this guy alone." You personally didn't care how dangerous the enemy was. "I also want to see that zombie horse thing that's been gifted to you from the king."

"Yeah!" Johnny nodded along enthusiastically. "Like just how much can it heal? Will it fix your leg? Could it fix mine?"

"Look. Don't expect anything weird." Gyro doubted it could be anything so bizarre. "And you two don't seem to understand. I'm saying you'll just get in the way!"

"I'll get in the way?" You scowled at Gyro, clearly annoyed with his proclamation. "Who's Stand was it that took care of the bombed mouse? Who here knows the most about Stands? Hell, you're the one who invited us to ride with you in the first place!"

"And I don't listen to peoples orders." So Johnny wasn't going to start doing that now. "Since the beginning of the race, we've been involved with you! It's too late to go our separate ways!"

Gyro didn't complain further as the three of you followed Oyecomova into the shallow river. A cloaked, bird-like figure took form behind the enemy as he poured water from his canteen onto his hand which then dripped into the river below.

"Gyro! Get out of the water!" Johnny's horse reared up on its hind legs. "He's turned the water into bombs! Let's climb onto the rocks!" Hundreds of tiny clock pins drifted in the water.

"No, climb up the rocks on your own! I'll do just the opposite and catch up with him!" Gyro sped up.

"What?!" As usual, Johnny thought Gyro was being reckless.

"There's a delay." You explained, giving Moxy a light pat on the neck. "Our horses are plenty fast, so the pins will just explode behind us." Explosions roared out from behind the three of you, as you all encouraged your horses not to hesitate for even a second.

"There's a waterfall!" Johnny watched as the enemy climbed up the slope. Then he took another look behind, as the explosions seemed to be getting closer and closer.

"We have to charge right up! Don't slow down!" Ordered the Zeppeli. By now he had given up on trying to get the rest of you away from this fight. "We have to climb up at the same speed!"

"He just knocked down a wasp's nest." Informed Kars, watching in distaste as the nest hit several rocks on the way down before finally plopping into the water. During its fall, a swarm of wasps emerged from the nest, angrier than ever.

"They're going to attack us! All of the wasps have pins on them!" Johnny's fingernails began to spin. "I'll have to slash them down one by one with my nail cutters!"

"Don't slow down!" Gyro removed a steel ball from its holster. "I'll have to throw from here! Wait..." He stopped. All of the wasps had stopped flying toward them and were instead zooming toward Oyecomova. "What's going on?!"

"Kars can take on aspects of and transform himself into all lifeforms on Earth." You gestured to the Ultimate Being behind you. "He can also communicate with them, which I presume is what's happening here."

"But he didn't say anything?" Johnny didn't quite understand.

Kars let out a sigh as he rested an arm around your waist. "Obviously. They don't communicate in the same way you humans do. They use different hormones to signal different things. Using that method, I simply informed them that Oyecomova was in fact the intruder who destroyed their nest. Of course, I also made it seem like we were their allies."
