"See? They're right over there." Fake (Y/N) pointed to where Anasui and Weather Report were rolling around on the sidewalk near a drainage grate. They had not been so lucky with the characters that had dragged the souls out of their bodies.

Anasui had gained some wolf ears while tiny goats tormented him. Weather accidentally fired a bullet through his own head while a portrait of Van Gogh watched. Bruno jogged over, mildly surprised by the scene in front of him.

"The wolf is drowning!" Squealed a goat as water suddenly formed around the pinkette's mouth.

"Just like the story!"

"Yay! Hooray!!"

"Happy ending!"

Van Gogh sneered at the fading Weather, "It's over. Just like how it should be. I'll live happily in your stead."

"Not so fast." Bruno gripped the living painting by the front of his collar. "The solution is simple. To beat this Stand, we just need to make a character of our own that will send all these characters back to how they were."

"I... was starting to think the same thing. Hand him over here." Weather started strangling Van Gogh while handing the artist a black sharpie. "Our hero will have a big top hat, a swirly mustache, and this big vacuum that he lugs around in order to fix everything. We'll just call him 'Put Back' since there isn't really time to come up with something better. You get all that?"

Van Gogh nodded aggressively, "Yes, I'll do it right away! Please! Just don't hurt me!"

While Anasui still wasn't really sure what Weather's little art project was all about, he had instead focused in on the version of you standing a few feet behind Bruno. "H-Hey... What the hell is that about?" He tried to prop himself off the sidewalk with the one arm that hadn't melted away, "Don't tell me that you were frolicking around with (Y/N) while we were fighting for our lives! She's my girlfriend, you know! When this is over, Bucciarati, I swear I really will kill you!"

You crouched down in front of Anasui, pushing his forehead with your pointer finger, "You're kind of annoying, you know that? I may not be the 'real' (Y/N), but I doubt any version of me would want to be with the likes of you. And you really think killing someone would help with that?"

Anasui grit his teeth and slammed his fist down on the pavement. "You don't know jack shit! (Y/N) said she didn't care that I kill people! She swore that she loves me back!" He laughed. "You really think I'd believe some knock-off version of my (Y/N)?"

You tilted your head to the side, not feeling threatened in the slightest. "You sure you aren't just hearing what you want to hear? And if you're killing people, don't you think that maybe she'd be wary of what she says so you don't go around hurting the people she actually cares about?"

Bruno put a hand on your shoulder, "I don't think your gonna get through to him."

You let out a disappointed sigh, "You're right. I think he's hopeless. You on the other hand..." You scanned him up and down, "I can see why the real (Y/N) might want to be with you."

"I-I did it! It's done! I finished the drawing!" Van Gogh had even added his signature and everything.

"You did well." Weather released the painter from his clutches. "You're a good artist. You have talent. You've drawn quite the picture."

Anasui stared at the image drawn on the pavement. "What even is that?"

"It's Pick Up. A hero with the power to fix this mess. It's story ends when everything is put back to normal." Explained Weather Report.

Bruno gave a brief nod of appreciation as the newly born hero emerged from the ground, "Good work, Weather."

Pick Up stood proudly as it held its vacuum. Every creation was being sucked straight in. The souls of the living were dragged into the mix as well.
