A few weeks had passed since the whole thing with Pucci. A tale you had recounted many times to the curious citizens of Morioh. Well, at least the other Stand users. Emporio was able to situate himself quite well within the town, especially with Rohan writing a little something to help the kid learn Japanese.

Bruno and Giorno were going to show up later in the day to discuss the whole Dio situation. Things had been cleaned up nicely back in Italy following the effects of the acceleration, so they weren't too worried about leaving it behind again.

Because of them visiting, Narancia was currently your Stand at the moment. He was looking forward to seeing some of his fellow gang members again. Although, he was currently playing some board games with his roommates so it'd probably be a while before he left the void room.

The Speedwagon Foundation had been an especially big help in getting the world running smoothly again after the acceleration. They had sent out a message with some science related mumbo jumbo to give an explanation of the phenomenon to the common folk. Though it went without saying that it would've taken much longer to get the world running properly again without the spider's help.

You hadn't actually seen the arachnid since you made the deal with her. You just hoped it would be a while before she decided to ask you to do something. Although, part of you wondered if it would be better to just get it out of the way.

You were sweeping the entryway when there was a knock at the front door. You set the broom against the wall and opened the door to see Bucciarati standing outside while holding a bouquet of roses. You smiled brightly at him, "Bruno, you came earlier than I thought you would. I haven't even finished cleaning up yet." You took a peek behind him, seeing nothing but your front lawn and Santana's apple tree. "Is Giorno coming later?"

He gave a small nod as he handed you the bouquet, "Yeah. I just wanted to surprise you. The others came with him and they wanted to see some things in Japan first."

You tilted your head to the side. Bruno sounded a bit congested. Did he have a cold? "Ah, that explains it. Thanks for the flowers." You gave him a brief peck on the cheek. "I'll go get a vase."

Bruno stood there for a moment, watching as you filled the vase with water before placing in the roses. Then he took a glance around your home. "Are Santana and Emporio here?"

You shook your head, chuckling to yourself, "They're at the park taking Coco Jumbo for a walk. On the way back they're going to pick up some groceries that I'll use to make lunch. Since you're here early, I guess you'll have to help me cook."

"Of course I will. But that also means that for now..." He walked up behind you, his hands settling on your waist. "...I guess it's just the two of us. It's been a while since we've had some time alone, don't you think?"

You raised an eyebrow, "I suppose so. If you aren't counting the time you visited me in prison."

Bruno looked confused for a second but soon started to nod along. "You didn't even remember me then, so..."

You moved away from Bruno to pick the broom back up. "I still need to finish cleaning, though, so go scrub the toilets or something. But if you don't have to return to Italy right away, I don't see why you shouldn't stay the night."

"All right. Since you asked so nicely." He started heading down the hall toward the bathroom.

Once Bruno was out of sight you frowned. Something was off.

You were placing the broom into the cleaning closet when you heard your phone ring. Upon checking your pockets, you realized you had actually left it in your room. With a disgruntled sigh you went to your bedroom to pick it up off your bedside table.
