Anasui stopped walking, looking over at his friend, "Weather? What's wrong? Where's (Y/N)? Why the hell are you curled up like that?" He was less concerned about the man's wellbeing and more concerned about finding you.
Bruno glanced from the ceiling to Weather. "Are you okay? It looked like a Stand attacked you." Then he spotted something on the ground, a disc with your face on it. "And what's this...? Did the Stand drop it?"
The second Bruno picked it up, Anasui snatched it out of his hand. "You shouldn't be touching this." He snapped. Anasui was hoping he could just stop you from getting your memories back. You didn't need to remember this Bucciarati guy.
"Okay..." Bruno's eye twitched ever so slightly. He had been dealing with Anasui's bullshit for a while now and he wasn't sure how much more he could handle before he actually lost it.
Weather plopped his bum down onto a chair, holding his head in his hands.
"Huh? What are you doing?" A man with crutches, that also had both his right limbs engulfed by casts, hobbled over. "That's my seat!" He grabbed Weather by the shoulder. "Come on! Get out of my seat!"
"Don't touch me, asshole!" Weather spoke with a harshness that was incredibly unusual compared to his usual soft spoken demeanor. He stared so intensely, literal sparks danced in front of his eyes.
A doctor decided to intervene. "Excuse me, sir, but are you a patient here? The seat you're sitting on is reserved for those who are..."
Weather picked the doctor up by the front of his scrubs and slammed him against a wall. "Shut your mouth. If you really want him to sit down that much..." His Stand entered through the doctor's mouth, forcing water to burst forth from every orifice. "...then you can be his chair." He left him as a human bean bag, "There, have a seat, cripple." He smirked as he walked away. "Heh. Now I'm feeling better."
Bruno was unnerved now. The reserved but reliable person he had come to know had seemingly vanished in an instant. "Are you sure you're all right, Weather?"
"Yeah, Weather!" For once Anasui seemed to be on the same page as the Italian. "What the hell are you doing?!"
"Weather? Who the fuck do you think you are?" He let the name sit for a moment. "Well, I suppose I don't dislike the nickname. Anyway, why don't we go have a bit of fun, guys? Let's just go insane. How about it? I'll kill my brother eventually, but let's do that later."
"Brother...?" Anasui wondered if he was hearing things. "What the hell? Where are you going, anyway?! Is that where (Y/N) is?!"
Weather let out a sharp back of laughter. "When are you going to get it through your thick skull that (Y/N) doesn't like you back? Still..." He headed closer to the window. It wouldn't hurt to find you. You might as well get to know the real him. He shrugged. There would be time for that later.
Both concerned about what exactly Weather might do, Bruno and Anasui followed after him.
...
"A rainbow..." Donatello clawed at the string wrapped around his ankles. "The rainbow is coming closer!"
"Jolyne, what are you doing?!" Hermès charged forward, wondering why her friend was taking so long to kill Donatello. "This is it! Take this!" She went to sock him in the face, but part of her elbow grazed against one of the rainbows. Dozens of small, off-white spheres spilled out of her now opened arm. "What the fuck?!"
"H-Hermès!" Your eyes darted from her to Dio's son. "What did you do, Donatello?! What's happening to her?!"
Versus broke free from his restraints, tumbling to the floor. "You're in deep shit... You're fucked, but... I'm fucked, too. So I guess I can tell you." You looked upward. "Don't touch those rainbows. Pucci tried to stop Weather from ever using it again, but Weather's ability is to control the Weather. Well, not that he remembers how much of it he can actually control, but he should be able to destroy the ozone layer! I don't really know what will happen, but what I do know is that we'd be totally fucked. Everyone will die. It was a huge gamble, but I'm trying to use him to my advantage."
"Then these rainbows mean he's got his memories back?" Jolyne was making sure she understood.
"And what the fuck does the ozone layer have to do with my arm?!" Hermès was at least glad the egg-like things weren't falling out of her anymore.
"(Y/N)..." Dio whispered softly into your ear. "I have a favor to ask you."
"What?" After everything that had happened thus far, he really had the audacity to ask you for a favor?
The vampire took in a deep breath to prepare himself. "Soon... I don't doubt that Pucci is going to make his escape. Which would potentially mean the both of us would go along with him. However, he has made it clear that he doesn't really care about my sons. So while I'm forced away, I need someone to look after Donatello and make sure Weather's ability doesn't get to him."
You stared at him for a few seconds, wondering if he was being serious. "You want me to protect your son... even though you're forcing me to come with you...? How does that make any sense?"
"That's what I was getting to." Whispered Dio through his fanged teeth. "I'm...." He looked to his son who was still laying on the ground. It was taking a lot of effort on his part to get the words out. "I'm going to let you go... so you can do what I ask. We'll just have to make it look like you managed to escape on your own-"
You slammed your fist down on his groin. Both he and Pucci let out a pained gasp and you slipped out of the vampire's momentarily loosened hold. Two steps was all you needed to be out of Dio's range.
Pucci's face was still contorted in pain as he leaned on the wall to support himself. "Dio, why didn't you restrain her better?" He kept his voice level, refraining from raising his voice too much.
"Why didn't you use Whitesnake on her?" Retorted Dio. Though he still wasn't sure if you were going to go along with his plan. He probably shouldn't get his hopes up.
"You okay, (Y/N)?" Asked Jolyne now that you weren't captured by the enemy.
"Yeah, of course." You said it like it should be obvious. "He didn't even really kidnap me this time."
Hermès gaze snapped toward you. "This time?" Was it something that happened to you often?
Pucci settled his hand on his hip, watching all of you from a distance, tilting his head to the side as he spoke. "Jolyne... I don't really care about what happens to you or Hermès. But if you want to live, make Versus get rid of the rainbow. The Weather is a difficult thing to control. It sometimes acts without Weather noticing. These rainbows are also unconscious. Versus should have never restored Weather's memory."
"Listen... you must either kill Weather or extract his memory to stop the rainbows. Jolyne, I doubt you'd be capable of killing Weather, but Versus should be able to extract it by unearthing it. Or else everyone will die before the new moon" Pucci took a few steps deeper into the cave. "Except for me, of course. (Y/N) should also be able to survive."
You finished wrapping up Hermès bleeding arm and tossed the role of bandages to Wamuu who would take it back to the void room. During the priest's rambling, you had pulled out the other items to stop the amalgamation state. "Actually... if Weather really is going to destroy the ozone layer, then that might actually kill me. The ozone layer absorbs around 99% of the Sun's ultraviolet light. Usually I counteract my minor sunlight weakness with some heavy sunblock. I don't think a little bit of sunscreen will help me if the ozone layer is destroyed."
Pucci stopped dead in his tracks. "(Y/N)... you must come with me, then. I simply cannot allow you to die." He extended a hand toward. "We can achieve Heaven together." That earned a suspecting look from Dio, wondering what exactly 'together' meant. "If you simply leave behind those that are chaining you down, then I can help you reach your full potential. Why can't you see the truth? I only want what's best for you."
"There's no way anyone who follows Dio knows what's best for me." Especially when he didn't seem to care about anything besides his stupid Heaven plan that was apparently thought up by his beloved Dio.
Pucci gave a small nod. "I anticipated as much. But fate is on my side. I am sure you will come out unscathed from whatever's to come. Soon... you'll be at my side again." And with that he slipped off into the shadows.
With that, Donatello decided to sprint off toward the exit, something Hermès immediately pointed out. "Hey! He's getting away!"
Stone Free was sent out to try and grab him. Instead of it wrapping around Donatello's foot, she had latched onto a policeman. It was like the whole cavern had disappeared. Putting you back in the hole in the hospital room.
