Gyro picked up the corpse hand that had ended up being flung right back over to the three of you. He took a second to sew up the hole in his chin with some zombie horse thread. "There..." Then he tossed the arm to Johnny.

"Y-You're gonna give it back to me...?" Johnny slowly loosened his hold on you to pick up the corpse part. "You don't want it? So... the reason you joined the race wasn't to find the pieces of this corpse?"

"I'm not interested... Well, maybe a little... Actually, no." Gyro had not yet quite decided how he felt about the mummified body. "All I want is to finish in 1st place to receive an amnesty from my king. But I'm starting understand that the terrorists think that I'm hiding that arm with me somewhere!"

You leaned your back against a rock. "The whole race seems like a ploy to gather all the pieces of this corpse. The race path was probably decided with the other part locations in mind. The terrorists will collect all the pieces and will likely give them to whoever put the bounty on your head, Gyro."

"I want to hear your opinion, Gyro." Johnny had already let the corpse piece merge back into his own arm. "What is this corpse and whose corpse is it?"

"Wait..." Gyro narrowed his eyes. "Don't tell me you already decided to go look for the rest of it."

"Yes. I've made up my mind." Even if he had to do it alone, Johnny had decided to find the corpse pieces. "I don't know who it used to be, but if I lose this, I'm back to the loser that I was. I won't go back to being a quitter. I'm going all the way!" He was determined to achieve his new goal.

"(Y/N), are you gonna be helping him with this?" The Zeppeli wanted to know your plan on the matter.

You nodded. "Yeah, I will. I'm curious to see what will happen if we put all the parts together." Johnny gave you a thankful smile.

"Well, I'm not going corpse hunting, so don't count on me." The Italian picked his saddle up off the ground and waved Valkyrie over. "But I'll tell you what I think. The terrorists must have a record of the corpse and it's probably the corpse of a saint."

"Gyro! So you do know something about this!" Johnny pointed an accusing finger at the man.

"Wait! Calm down!" Gyro took a step back. "I'm just saying my personal opinion. You must be the type of person who listens to half of what someone says and then judges them! But it's true that there's probably a record of it in my country." Gyro crouched down and pointed to the words etched in Johnny's skin. "This here is Latin for 'move your legs.'"

"I know." Johnny let his arm fall back to his side. "(Y/N) already told me that."

This seemed to surprise the Zeppeli, "(Y/N), you understand Latin?"

You shrugged, "I understand a lot of languages." You had plenty of time to learn, after all.

Gyro stared at you for a second before shaking his head. He decided to go back to the topic of saints. "Anyway, the word saint is used for people who cause miracles after they die! This is why it can take hundreds of years for a person to be declared a saint. And since this whole race is done to find those pieces, the saint is probably very important. And their bodies do not rot for hundreds of years."

"A saint?!" Johnny was incredibly surprised by the idea. "My Stand ability... my nails spun! And my lame feet moved!"

The corner of Gyro's lips quirked up, "There you have it. Two miracles. If you do it in the Vatican it'll easily be recognized as a saint."

"But wait! This is the new world!" Johnny hadn't heard anything of the sort in the past. "Have any of the saints crossed to America? And why are they scattered across this land?"
