CHAPTER 43: FIRST KISS

I said, "I still can't believe this night. I mean this beach the water the table food it's all so beautiful."  

He said, "Well you left out the beautiful princess that has honored me with her presence."  

He smiled.  I laughed. I said, "It's funny, this night is so perfect, I even feel like a princess. Silly huh"

 He said, "No I wanted you to feel that way. So can I tell you a secret?" 

 I said, "of course. You can always trust me Tom to keep your secrets."

  He smiled.  He said, 'the diamond tiara." 

 I said, "yes oh you think it's silly right, I mean it's for children I know that, Tom. Its just Molly looked like she was going to cry if I didn't let her get that, and she wanted me to wear it I'll take it off." 

 Tom took it from me, he put it back on my head.  He said, "Maddie, I gave her the money to buy it, I told her and Mia, I wanted you to have it for your first date. So, blame me if you think it's silly or childish."  

I said, "What you did" 

Tom nodded.  He smiled.  I said, "oh Tom" I cried.  

He said, "oh no tears"

 I said, "I can't help it, you're so sweet, they are happy tears." 

 He said, "Ok as long as they are happy."

Tom said, "Madison you are beautiful. You don't see it, but you are."  

I said, "Thank you." 

Tom's phone buzzed. He looked at it.  It was a notification about Mike tagging him and I.  Mine went off.  I said, "well word is out now huh"

 He smiled.  His phone kept going off.  We looked, it lots of comments no way or is that a date, where are they going, all questions, and some comments were nice, others not nice, like he's dating her for real since when. What is wrong with him, that girl.

 Tom said, "hey I don't know if it is just because I was so nervous about tonight, and making it perfect, or what, but this food is really delicious huh." 

 I said, "yes I think it's the best it's ever tasted."  

Tom smiled.  He said, "Same" I said, "But I am getting so full." 

Tom said, "me too. But we will have to save room, because you have one more thing to eat."

  I said, "one more. So, if Emma told Mike what we get, then is it the best dessert ever made." 

 Tom smiled.  He pulled it out of the sack.  

I said, "yes I love this so much. It's heavenly" 

Tom smiled.  He said, "I think you're heavenly" 

I laughed.  I said, "have you ever tried it?" 

 Tom said, "no" I said, "Do you like chocolate." 

 Tom said, "yes."  I said, "you will love it. It's mouthwatering."  Tom moaned when I said mouth.

Tom thought to himself, I want to kiss her so bad. I have to get that first kiss. But I don't want to overwhelm her or move fast. This is her first date, first kiss, and I don't want her to think that I brought her here to take advantage of her. Patience Hanson be patient. Don't put a move on her. 

I said, "I'm going to have to wait for the dessert. I'm so full. You must think I'm a pig huh the way I devoured that."

  He said, "no I don't, and I devoured it too."
