Chapter 33

P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

Last time it was Kelly's birthday and we were at her grandfather's Saw mill partying when these four older guys show up and their attention is immediately drawn to Kelly as if they were in trance. They walk over shoving their way to her and surround her. Kyle and I told them to fuck off but they didn't. They turned out to be vampires and they wanted to feed off of Kelly sensing her as a very powerful witch. After Jason and Jane teleported Kyle out of the mill; Kelly reveals her true self to them and they weren't excepting it. In fact they loved it and wanted her more. Kelly attacked one with a stream of fire and they teleport away escaping. Today is Friday March 9, 1984; I finally saved up enough money and bought my first car which is a black 1968 Z28 Camaro. I got it a few days ago from my dad's bestfriend it was his car when he was young. He didn't change the body of the car. all he did was pulled out the speed limiter and built a turbo fire engine and the car flies at 172 mph. Kelly and the others haven't seen it yet cause my dad and I have been cleaning it up and making sure everything is working cause it's been sitting in the man's garage since 1977 for seven years. My dad was on a vacation from work for about a week but he goes back today at 3pm. Dad has the car parked in the driveway with the hood up showing me how to put oil in the car and to check it with the dipstick. Afterwards he closes the hood and I get in starting it up and it the engine roars loud. I can see my dad smiling at me as he watches me. I leave it on to let it warm up and get out of the car closing the door. Dad said " Well you're all set". I said " Thank you Dad". He said " You're welcome Sweetie". I see his eyes getting teary as he's trying not to cry. I said " What's wrong Dad?" He said as he wiped his right cheek " It's just hard to believe your almost an adult.. I still see you as my little girl". I smile at him as my eyes tear up. I pull him into a hug holding his shoulders as he holds my waist. We look at each other and I said " I'll always be your little girl Dad". I kiss him on the cheek and he gently holds my face and kisses my head. He said " Be careful and have a good day Baby". I said " I will". I open the door and get inside closing it. Dad is standing next to the car. He said " I love you Kimberly Ann". I smile and said " I love you too Dad". He calls me that from time to time but when he says it I'm not in trouble but when my mom does that means I am. I put my seatbelt on then shift into drive as the car eases off down the driveway as I pull out I shift to gain speed until I'm going the speed limit. Soon I'm flying down Woodland as I'm shifting gears the radio is playing Stone in love by Journey one of my favorite songs by them. I slow down a little so that I'm not going over the speed limit like Kelly does. I pull up the hill by the school and turn left into the parking lot. I see most of the kids in parking lot looking at the car in amazement cause they like it. I park beside Kelly's car she is just staring at the car. I turn off the car and pull the key out of the ignition and put the keys in the pocket of my jacket. I grab my black backpack in the passenger seat and open the door getting out. As I close the door I smile at Kelly as she watches me. I walk over to her and She said as she looked at the car " A 1968 Z28 Camaro?" I said with a smile " Yeah". She looks at me and said " How the hell did you find that?" I said " It was my dad's best friend's it was sitting in his garage for seven years". Soon Jane, Jason, Kyle and Rick walk over. Jason, Kyle and Rick are staring at the car in amazement. Jason said " This totally is bad ass". Rick and Kyle shake their heads in agreement. Kelly said as she winked at me " Show us what you're packing under there". I smile and we walk down to the front as I pop the hood open it letting them look. Kelly, Jason, Kyle and Rick are studying the engine. Kelly said " No way 450 horsepower and a turbo fire engine". Jason said " Awesome. how fast can it go?" I said " 172 mph". Kelly said " That's without the speed limiter". Jason said to Kelly " Well her car can smoke ours". Kelly said " We'll see about that". with a wink. I said with a cocky tone " Are you challenging me to a race?" I smile at her after I said it. She smirks at me with that grin I said it like that to mess with her. We are face to face with our lips inches away. Kelly said as she looked down at me " Maybe I am." She grins at me. I said " Well let me know when". I grab her between the legs then Jane and I walk away Kelly is flustered sexually as she smiles at me. The boys are just grinning at Kelly as stand behind her.
