Chapter 68

P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

A week later things were quiet until Monday. Which is today March 2, 1987; it's Heather's nineteenth birthday and she's going around Campus inviting everyone to her birthday party at the Kappa Delta Sorority House that is now filled with tons of demons that Heather has either created or recruited to our College. She is a Demonic scientist cause that is what chemists are. Heather uses Chemistry to create these demons. She injects the subject with a substance she created that changes them kind like The Re-Animator except the subject isn't dead. We thought she did that through rituals but that was like a welcoming for the new demon. She was welcoming them into her world of evil. Kelly has figured all of this out by spying on Heather at the Kappa House. Austin made Kelly an invisibility potion she drank it and went to the house where she was able to watch them. She followed Heather down to the basement of the house where she discovered her lab. Kelly saw Heather's notes on a huge bulletin board. There were notes on all of us. She's studying us by collecting our hair and DNA from glass or cans at the University. Kelly said she has separate boards for each of us. Kelly found a board covered in notes about her. Heather is particularly interested in me, Mom, Kelly, Austin, Jane, Debby, Terri, and Jesse. Because we all share the same DNA as our parents. Kelly said it was strange to see that Heather was using us for her science experiments. I felt violated of my privacy after Kelly told us this. That means Heather has been in my and Kyle's apartment collecting my hair and DNA. But we can't prove she's been in the apartment and if we throw away a can or glass bottle she has the right to collect if she wants to because it's public trash. Kelly wanted to figure out how Heather made those bullets that Victoria shot her with that's the main reason she followed her. After English, I headed to the Student Union to meet Kyle and the others for lunch; I'm wearing a Dickies blue jean jacket, a white t-shirt that says Ozzy Osbourne the ultimate sin with the art of a woman and a monster that has a snake tongue who resembles Ozzy, a black leather belt with silver studs, a pair of high waisted Ralph Lauren blue jeans and a pair of black Doc Marten boots. I have to finishing write a book report for English so after my last class I'm gonna head over to the Holson Library that huge one and finish my report there in a study room I have been working on it for almost two weeks. After eating we all chat for a bit. It's me, Kyle, Jane, Jason, Shana, Jacob, Kelly, and Mandi. Kyle said to me " I'll wait up for you at the apartment". I said playfully " You better". Kyle smiles and leans over giving me a soft kiss I kiss him back. We kiss for a couple of seconds and Kelly says " Alright break it up before knock your heads together like coconuts". She said messing around. I playfully flip her off and she grins at this. She said with a smile " Don't threaten me with a good time". I clear my throat and Jane changes the subject. She said " So did anyone get invites to Heather's birthday party at the Kappa House Friday?" I said " Yeah.. and I told her to shove that invitation up her ass". Kyle giggles and then says " Speaking of ass". I feel my face turn red in embarrassment. Jane saw my face and said, " Ewww.. I can already see where this is going". Kyle reaches down unzips my backpack and pulls out a tan envelope. He hands it to me and I hold it out to Jane as she looks unsure but she takes it. She opens it and pulls out Polaroid pictures. She looks through them and then puts them back in the envelope. Jane said in surprise " Oh my god.. I can't believe she sent those to you". Kelly held out her hand in front of Mandi and said with a grin " Let me take a look". Jane said as she rolled her eyes playfully to Kelly " Of course you want to see pervert". She hands it to Kelly and she opens looking through the pictures. Kelly snickers evilly and then says " She's flat as a board". We all bust out laughing. Jane said as she giggled " That's what I was thinking.. She's got hardly any titties". I said, " I know right.. I have more than she does". Kyle put his hand on my knee and said with a smile " Yours are perfect". I blush at him and Kelly said with a wink " Yeah they are". Mandi smacks Kelly in the arm playfully. Kelly giggles evilly and then says to Mandi " Yours are too.. they just smaller". We all giggle at the comment. Mandi looked at me and said with a grin " We all know Kim has the perfect body". She winks at me as Kelly grins at Mandi. After class was over I left the Holden College of Business and headed next door to The Holson Library that is right beside the College of Business. I walk in the front door through the lobby and up the stairs to a room full of shelves with books on them. I browsed through them for about ten minutes until I found the one wanted. I went up to the desk where the librarian checked it out. I walked out of the room and around passing the stairs and up another set leading to the top where the private study rooms are. I stopped by the vending machine and got a can of Coke and a small bag of plain chips. I walked into the empty room with a long wooden table in the middle of the room and I sat down and started working on my report. At 6:00 pm I was finally done I started at 4:15 pm. I suddenly see a shadow on the table above me. Before I can look back my face is slammed against the hard wooden table. I exclaim in pain at the impact. I feel a huge forearm being pressed against my throat and I'm lifted out of the chair and turned around. I see Dean Thomas in the mirror holding me against his long torso with my shoes off the ground and his large forearm is pressed against my throat. My nose and mouth are pouring blood and I have a gash above my right eyebrow that is slowly oozing blood down my right temple. I'm a bit dazed from the hit but I'm awake. He growls squeezing his forearm against my throat I exclaim in pain as I kick at his legs. He laughs wickedly as he holds me. He said in his deep voice " I told you were gonna regret messing with my Heather.." I'm struggling in his arm but he is very strong. John laughed wickedly then said as he still held me in his arm " You can't get away from me you little shit.. I'm 6'5" and 208 pounds that can crush your tiny body like a Boa constrictor squeezing its prey.." I choke as I feel him crushing my throat. I ball my fist up and sling it back hitting him in the nuts. He exclaims in sudden pain as he drops me. I exclaim as I land on my stomach. I quickly get up as he's on his knees. I growl as I pick up a wooden chair and break it across his head. He hits the ground on his side and I go to take off and he throws his leg out tripping me. I exclaim as I fall hitting the ground on my side hard feeling a rib crack. John growls as he gets up. He exclaims in anger and kicks me in the stomach. I scream in intense pain as his huge boot hits my stomach. He grabs the back my blue jean jacket and slings me clear across the table. I exclaim as I hit the ground on the other side of the table I landed on the other side of my ribs. As I lay there in pain I hear him walking around the table and I roll over on my back throwing my Doc Marten boot up but he catches it in his hands. He growls as he violently twists my leg to the right and it breaks as I scream in agonizing pain. He drops it and I exclaim in intense pain. He laughs wickedly as he stares down at me. He gets on top of me with all his weight and puts both hands around my throat squeezing. He said as he stared down at me " All I had to do was sit on you.. you skinny bitch.. but I enjoyed kicking your ass first" I struggle underneath him but he was way too big. I feel myself starting to lose consciousness as my vision starts going in and out. All of a sudden John exclaims in agony he turns and I faintly see a Crucifix in lodged in his back. I see Jane and Jason behind him. Jason exclaims in anger as decks him in the jaw making blood fly out and he falls off me on the floor. Jane helps me up slowly as I exclaim in pain. Jason is furious as he picks up Dean Thomas then flips him slamming him across the huge wooden table breaking in two. He said as he stared down at him " Hurting a woman makes you number one on my shit list motherfucker!!" Jason went to stomp his face and he quickly teleported away and Jason hit the floor. He looks over at us and I feel myself going in and out of consciousness because of the head wound. Jane said " We have to get her to Terri.. her leg is broken and she's losing consciousness".. Jason was so upset as he looked at me. He said, " I'll carry her to the car". He gently lifts me into a bridal carry and they take me downstairs and sneak out the back way where nobody could see. Because there weren't many people in the library nobody heard the fight. As Jason carries me I feel like everything is spinning. Jane opens the door and I hear her pulling the seat up. I feel Jason lowering me into the back seat and Jane's lap as she holds my head up she runs her fingers through my hair gently trying to keep me awake. She said as she looked down at me with her beautiful ice blue eyes " Stay with me Kim".. Jason drove to Terri's house and I passed out when we got there. I woke up to Jane, Terri, Jason, Kyle, Don and Jesse standing around me as I lay on the couch. I groan as I slowly rise. Terri said, " That was close he could have killed you". I said, " That big fucker caught me off, guard". I looked at Jesse then at Terri and said " Sorry for the language". Jane said, " I can't believe he beat you up like that in the library". Jason said, " He isn't getting away with this". Him and Kyle are so pissed. Kyle sits beside me on the couch. He said with regret, " I should have been there with you".. I said, " He would have still hurt me and he could have killed you if you were there". Kyle said " He was stronger than you wasn't he?" I said, " Yeah, and him being as big as he is made it difficult to fight back cause he ragdolled me across that room like I was nothing".
