Chapter 60

P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

It's been two weeks since we brought Debby home. She was taken by that red energy cube and sucked down into the earth. We thought she was in the unknown plane so we went down there and Fitz the Leprechaun gave us Debby's wedding ring and said that she wasn't down there. We returned to earth and the next day I picked up Jane and drove down to Magnolia Avenue to see our old friend Damien that owned that car lot. He told us he saw Debby with Donna, Maria and Robby that they came to the car lot to let the mechanic take a look at their motorcycles. Damien said when he said hey to Debby that she seemed like she didn't remember him but he said that she hadn't seen him in about three years so he didn't think much of it. After Jane got that Boxer's fracture at the Fourth of July party at the College from fighting Evian; Mom and Terri had been following Debby and approached her at Kroger's and she didn't recognize them and told them to get lost. Mom and Terri went and made that potion. We made it to the car graveyard and as Mom was distracting her Terri was sneaking up behind her with the potion. Debby heard her and spun around firing the gun at Terri as she quickly teleported away. She reappeared on the second stack of cars above right as Debby punched Mom. Terri jumped down on her back and busted the potion on her. Debby rammed Terri's back into the first stack of cars and she fell off. That was when I realized Terri was shot. As Debby started choking Terri Mom pulled out a second potion and threw it at her and that time it worked and Debby was back. Right as we went to leave Maria pulled up on her motorcycle and Debby cast a spell to make us invisible while she pretended to be evil and to be into Maria. She was suspicious but proceeded to initiate sex with her as Debby desperately tried to change the subject but Maria was persistent. That was when Debby turned the gun on Maria and she realized Debby was back. After injuring Maria with an energy beam we went to teleport away and she leaped on Debby's back and bit into her neck until Jane threw her off by hitting her with an energy beam to the forehead. It was intense and crazy Terri was slowly bleeding out from the gun shot wound and we made it back for Xander to heal her. He said that the bullet grazed her pretty good. We had to explain to Jack what happened and why Debby was involved with Maria. You can tell he wasn't thrilled about the whole situation it was because Debby cheated on him but it wasn't by her own free will so they talked it out and Jack told her he wasn't angry with her for something she had no control over. It was a rollercoaster ride of emotions but Debby is back and that's all that matters. Today is Monday July 21, 1986, I'm done with all my training now I'm officially a Bank Teller. I've been at work since 7:00am this morning and I'm just now getting off at 3:00pm. As I'm driving I past by the high school and I remember my four years there and out of those four years I was with Kelly for about three years and I should have known better to fall for her.. But if I hadn't of I probably wouldn't have gotten close to Kyle and he would still be with her and unhappy because Kelly treated us both like trash but I always got the worst of her wrath. Don't get me wrong it wasn't always bad with Kelly some days she could actual be a descent person but a part of me knew it would never last and at the time I was in denial because I loved her and wanted things to work out but it was doomed from the start or before it even began. It doesn't matter anymore I'm free from her and I'm in love with the best guy in the world and the best girl. Speaking of Dakota she's back in town her Dad lives in Florida now so that's why she went to see him because she hadn't in a year. I just pulled in the driveway behind Mom's jeep. Dad's truck is parked beside hers on the left. Mom has taken the week off for her birthday which is Friday so Dad requested a few days off with her but he has to return to work tomorrow. I turned off the car after putting it in park. I pulled the keys out of the ignition and open the door getting out. As I walked off I closed the door behind me and walked to the porch. I walked up and opened the door walking in the foyer. When I enter Zeke was coming back from the kitchen as I close the door behind me he wags his tail cause he's happy to see me. I pet him on the head and he rubs up against the front of my legs. Afterwards I walk into the living room and Mom is laying on her back on the couch while Dad is laying on his side with his back to the couch. He is laying his head on Mom's left shoulder as they watch TV. They see me and smile. Mom said as she layed there " Hey did you have a good day?" I sat down in the recliner and said " Yeah it was okay just really busy". About that time we hear a car door then the doorbell rings. Dad said as he raised his head off Mom " Come in!" The door opens and Debby walks in standing in the foyer in her navy blue scrubs and her steel blue New Balance shoes. She has this tense look on her face like something is wrong. Mom and Dad both raise up and Mom puts her feet on the floor by the couch. She said with a concerned look on her face " Debby? is something wrong?" She gets up from the couch walking into the foyer as Debby stares down at her, She said " Maria was at the hospital.. she attacked me in the dispensary".. Her eyes start tearing up and Mom pulls her into a hug as Debby cries on her right shoulder. Mom looks up at her and said " What did she do?" Debby runs her fingers through her bangs. Her hair is brown with wavy ends just like Jane's. She said " She pinned me to the wall and covered my mouth so I couldn't scream.. She told me she wasn't giving up on "us" and that if she can't have me then no one will.. then.. she felt me up... Her voice broke as she spoke. She continued talking " Then she whispered in my ear that this was only the beginning then she threw me into the shelf scattering the medicine bottles everywhere.." She is shook up and upset.. I know that feeling.. Maria sexually assaulted her in that room.. She felt alone and helpless... I get up from the chair and walk into the foyer. I look up at Debby and said " I'm calling Jane". I'm so pissed that Maria did her like that. I walk into the kitchen while Mom and Dad comfort Debby. I take the phone off the hook and dial Jane's number. After a few rings She answers " Hello?" I said " Jane.. your mom is here Maria just attacked her at the hospital". Jane said in anger " What?!" Then She said " Tell her not to leave I'm on my way!" she said then she hung up. I hang up the phone and walk back in there. Mom is on the right end of the couch Debby in the middle and Dad is on the left beside Debby. I said as I looked at them " Jane's on the way". I went upstairs to change out of my work clothes and before I came down Jane was already down stairs. She is standing on the other side of the coffee table as Debby sits on the couch between Mom and Dad. Jane said " Did she do anything else?" with a serious look in her eyes. Debby said " No she teleported out of the room afterwards". Jane said " I should have went to work with you".. Debby said " You wouldn't have been able to go in the dispensary with me she still would have gotten to me even if you were there". Jane starts crying and Debby gets up from the couch walking over to her. Debby looks down at Jane as she stares up at her with tears running down her face. Debby pulls Jane into a hug as her head lays on Debby's chest she cries softly. After the hug Debby said " After that I walked back to the front desk to check out the medicine for the patient and the CNO Sally told me to take the week off after my kidnapping". Since Debby was missing for a week Jack had to tell the hospital that Debby was held captative by a biker gang which was true he just left out the evil part and the Maria part. Mom said " Terri is off for the week too the three of us can hang out and have fun". Debby smiles at Mom and said " Sounds like fun I'm in".
