Chapter 95

P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

Three Months later..

It's been three months since we traveled between dimensions. Debby and Terri were sent to Purgatory by those guns and Jesse was dragged to hell by the black vines. Jane found out she was pregnant a couple of days later she was so upset that Debby was there to know that she was going to be a Grandmother that she triggered her Projection power and sent us to Purgatory where we found Debby and Terri. With the help of Shana, we found that hidden portal inside the cave and traveled to Hell from there. We found the Devil's Minions absorbing Jesse's magic. Terri was a Spirit and jumped inside Jesse's body and together they battled the Minions until they escaped through a rift. Jesse felt like it was her fault that Debby and Terri were Spirits because She and Terri were arguing in Karen's backyard over the hickey but she was more upset that Terri got onto her in front of me. That week started nuts because of Kevyn. She showed up at Karen and Jimmy's house just to attack Debby. She demanded that she bring Kelly back but Debby didn't know where she sent Kelly at that time and told Kevyn to stay out of it but she didn't listen. After the attack on Debby, the next day she destroyed my car in the parking lot of my workplace. Then on the mission she stole the rings from us and fought with Jesse she tackled me down that hill where the ravine is on Sharp's Ridge. I begged her not to listen to Kelly that she would only lead her down a very dark path that me and Kyle love her and I would never keep him from her. Kevyn started to attack me viciously kicking the hell out of me she jumped on top of me punching me in the face over and over until my vision became blurry. When my vision came back she was about to stab me with a short sword but Terri stopped her by shooting her with a stream of Electrokinesis then she flew down the other hill that led down to the roads. After we got Debby and Terri back into their bodies we went over to Debby and Jack's house to let him know she was home and that Jane was pregnant. Jane telling her Dad she was pregnant was the most beautiful thing to see. He was so happy that he started to cry and I haven't seen Jack cry much. We're all very happy for Jason and Jane. Especially me and Kyle we are gonna be God Parents when Kyle and I have our child Jason and Jane will be the God Parents. Jane is now starting to show a small baby bump. She is so happy I love seeing her like this in the beginning she was a bit down because she didn't think she would get pregnant because of Kelly stabbing her that time but she did and she is so grateful. But the downside of being pregnant now is she can no longer go on missions with us. Which is fine because it keeps her safe. But we know Jane she's used to being in the action and it's hard for her not to want to help us but she knows we will be fine because she would never jeopardize herself. Today is Monday, May 30, 1994; Jane is going to her OBGYN tomorrow to find out the gender of her baby then on the 1st of June she's having her baby shower. After work today I'm going out to East Towne with Shana, Kat, Dana, and Dakota we are all buying gifts for the baby shower. I'm on my lunch break with Dakota down at the Café. We are sitting at a table outside it's a little warm but with some clouds, it is 84 degrees. Dakota takes a drink of her Clearly Canadian Sparkling water which is Wild Cherry flavor. She said as she smiled " I'm so glad Jane is finally having her baby". I take a drink of my Slice soda which has an Orange flavor. I said, " Me too.. She was beginning to think she wasn't after Kelly stabbing her". Dakota said as she rolled her eyes " I swear Kelly is gonna get what's coming to her one day.. she has ruined too many lives.. or at least has tried to". I said, " Yeah especially mine.. now Kevyn is out to get me.. I knew she'd turn her against me and Kyle". Dakota said " Did Kelly agree to let Kyle sign away his rights to Kevyn?" I said, " Yeah it was official a few days ago.. I didn't want him to do that but he's right it's for the best". She saw the guilt in my eyes and said as she put her hand on mine from across the table " It's not your fault Kim".. I said as I looked up from the table " It's hard not to feel like it is". Dakota sniffed the air and I said " What is it?" We both looked over to the left and there stood Kelly. She has her hair down and it still goes past her shoulders with the curls in the end. She's wearing a black blazer jacket opened with a white short sleeve button down, a black leather Versace belt with the symbol the buckle is gold, a pair of black dress pants, and a pair of black high heels. She has an expensive black leather Versace crossbag on her left shoulder. Her ocean-blue eyes stare down at us evilly. Dakota scoffs and says to Kelly " I thought I smelled that nauseating perfume of yours". Kelly glares at her and said, " Oh please.. you still wear Poison from high school and that shit smells like a cheap whore". Dakota rolled her eyes and I said to Kelly with an attitude " Is there something you want? Or are you just here to harass us?" Kelly reached down opened her bag and pulled out some papers. She tosses them on the table beside me. She said, "There are Kyle's copies.. I knew he'd give up on Kevyn but that's okay because I've always been her Mother and Father". Kelly walks through the sitting area and over to the corner of the sidewalk where she pushes the button for the pedestrian crosswalk. She waits until the light stops the cars and she walks across the crosswalk. I put the papers in my bag that is hanging on the back of my chair. I looked back at Dakota and said " I knew she'd throw that in my face". Dakota said, " Don't let her bother you.. You and Kyle did the right thing for your future and Kelly doesn't need to be a part of that future because you both know she will only try and destroy it". I said, " I know.. but I hate how we tried to be civil with her and help her raise Kevyn only for her to act like this". Dakota said, " That's because she's an evil bitch, Kim.. she's not happy so she doesn't want to see anyone else be happy". I said, " I wish she'd just take Mandi back.. I know Mandi cheated on her but she did love Kelly and I'm sure she still does". Dakota said, " But Kelly is or was still in love with you.. so either way it wasn't gonna work with them". I said " Have you heard from Julia?" Dakota said " Yeah we are finally talking through emails. She apologized for shutting me out but she said it was just easier for her to do that because she was moving back to Miami. She got married to a man named Michael Ingram in 1992 so now it's Julia Ingram instead of Andrews.. I'm happy for her". She said with a smile. I said with a smile " I'm glad you two reconnected as friends". Dakota said " She also said her parents have started talking to her again and they haven't spoken to her since 1987". I said " They didn't speak to her for seven years after they saw you two?" Dakota said " Yeah pretty messed up if you ask me... Julia said they just pretend like I never existed now that she married Michael". I said, " That is messed up". After our break was over we walked back down to the office and continued working. Around 4:30 pm Darla visits me. She appears sitting in the chair in front of my desk. I look up at her and she's see-through. She said in a mocking tone " Mirror.. Mirror.. on the wall who's the most powerful witch of them all?? Debby Nelson?? who knew boring Deb had that much power?" I whispered, " Go away, Darla".. I close my binder then shut off the computer and start putting away my things for the day as she watches me with a glare. I get up and walk to the left down to Nancy's office. She is typing on her computer. As I stand in the doorway I can see Darla behind me in the reflection of the glass on the office door. I said, " I'm finished for the day Nancy.. I'll see you tomorrow". She looked up and said with a smile " Sounds good". I turned around and walked through Darla as she stood there with her arms crossed. I walk out to my car and I hear Darla's voice behind me " Debby isn't gonna be around forever Kim.. So don't count on her coming to save you in the future". I turn around and stare at her. I said, " I have no doubt Debby is gonna be here for a long time.. Careful or she just might banish you". Darla's grin fades as she stares at me. I said with a smirk " What's the matter? not scared are you?" She said, " You wish". in an untruthful tone. I just stared at her and She said " Debby got lucky is what happened.. we both know Kelly could kill her". I said, " Kelly has tried to kill everyone and has failed.. one day she's gonna lose the battle". Darla scoffs and says with an attitude " We'll see about that witch". She disappears right as Dakota walks up. She saw her and said, " Well it looks like Darla decided to bless us with her presence". She said in a sarcastic tone. I said, " She's afraid of Debby now but she won't admit it". Dakota said, " Yeah because I bet she could banish her.. to be honest, Debby's power kind of makes me nervous like Shana's.. I mean the two of them together would be unstoppable". I said, " Well now we know Jane is just as powerful as Debby". Dakota said " Can you imagine how powerful her kid is gonna be because of her, Debby, and Jason?" I said, " I have no doubt it would be pretty powerful". Dakota said, " I'll meet you and the others at the mall.. I need to run home and change". I said " Me too". Dakota is at her car she opens the door and gets inside starting it up. I get in mine and put my seatbelt on then get the car started. Dakota puts her seatbelt on and waves at me as she backs up and pulls out of the parking lot turning right down the road. I back up pull out of the parking lot and turn right driving down the road. I stop at the light and I see a car pull up beside me on the left. I look over and see Kelly in the driver seat of a red 1994 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1. She is talking on a black car phone with a curly black cord. She hangs up the phone and looks over at me. She grins evilly and she grips the steering wheel giving me this creepy grin. I look up and the light turns green. Kelly flies down the road as I pull off. She drives ahead of me as I roll my eyes. I said to myself " What a fucking douche bag". I make it home at 5:20 pm and go inside. I fed Lance and went upstairs to take a quick shower and change my clothes. I put on a black shirt that says Nirvana in yellow letters, a black leather Suede belt, a pair of low-rise Jordache blue jeans, and a pair of black, white, and red Air Jordan high-tops. Kyle won't be home until later so I leave and drive over to East Towne meeting them in the parking lot. Shana is wearing a black t-shirt that says The Beatles with the British flag, a black leather belt with silver studs, a pair of low-rise Jordache blue jeans, and a pair of black low-top Converses. Kat is wearing a short-sleeved blue jean button-down shirt, a white t-shirt, a black leather belt, a pair of low-rise Lee blue jeans, and a pair of navy blue and white low-top Reebok classics. Dana is wearing a loose-fitting black tank top, a pair of loose-fitting maternity shorts that are blue jeans, and a pair of black Adidas slides she is four months pregnant as she pushes Avery in a baby stroller she will be a year in December they found out that she was having another girl they named her Alexandra Devonne Porter but they are gonna call her Alex. They had her baby shower last month. Dakota is wearing a grey t-shirt that says Metallica Justice for all, a black leather belt with silver studs, a pair of low-rise Levi blue jeans, and a pair of black and white Air Jordan high-tops. We shopped around the stores that had things for babies and stopped by the food court for some food. We all had a great time it was nice to get out and see my friends we don't see Kat much because of how busy she is with work. Karen and Holly have been back out in Combat since the end of March.
