Chapter 62

P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

It's been a month since Heather revealed herself as someone from our past. Turns out she wasn't a popular kid we'll just say that because of the makeover she got because of her appearance and kids are cruel. Kelly was apparently one of her bullies back then too. But none of us even remembered her because it was years ago and she changed the way she looked. She has held a grudge on me for years because she said we were friends before Jane came along which is a lie she has always been around me since we were babies. Heather and I must have hung out in class back then and she assumed that we were bestfriends. I'm sure I was her friend but Jane is my bestfriend always has been and always will be. I'm thinking Heather became jealous of Jane being so close to me and felt betrayed because I didn't think of her like a bestfriend but I probably didn't even really know her that well either. She is pissed at Kelly for dating Kyle and for bullying her and now she's mad at me for dating Kyle. She has been so bitter over the years and none of us knew her or even knew why she was angry. Like I said I never intentionally tried to ignore her and neither did Kyle. When I realized Kyle and Dakota were missing I freaked out and we searched for them. We found that trap door that lead down to that tunnel and turns out that tunnel leads to all over the school so there are secret passages that have access to every class room, every Sorority and Frat houses and to the dorms which if you think about it is really creepy that someone could just come through those secret passages and be in any house, class rooms and dorms. Heather has still been stalking Kyle around campus but not as much she's been keeping a distance. I found out what she's studying for a degree in Science which will take her four years so she's gonna be here the whole time I am. She is also my age I saw a poster board she had made with sorority sisters and it was one where they write facts about themselves. Her name is Heather Shannon Thomas and her birthday is March 2, 1968 she's older than me by a month. Today is Monday October 6, 1986 Kevyn will be a year old on Halloween and she has been walking since she was about eight months she has recently learned how to run from Kelly, Mandi, Me and Kyle. She is also climbing a lot better too so now she's really a handful. We are having her birthday party the same day as Halloween then when it starts to get dark the four of us are gonna take her trick or treating for the first time. After my English class was over at 1:00pm I headed to the Student Union cafeteria to meet the others for lunch. I met Dakota outside the front and we walked inside waiting in line. She said " Be prepared for your third year of classes they get harder". I said " I'll admit they are kind of hard now". Dakota said " Yeah they are at first but you get used to them. I've seen your math grades from high school I think you do just fine". She said with a grin. She's right I've always made straight A's in Math my other subjects were A's and B's. Dakota said " I wasn't always straight A's in Math a got a few B's". I said " My other classes were A's and B's". Dakota said with a grin " You aced gym too." She winks at me. I blush at her then I spot DayNesha walking in the cafeteria Dakota has her back turned to the door as we wait in line. I said " Incoming". Dakota turns and stands closer to me. DayNesha is glaring down at us with that evil look in her eyes. I've always had a bad feeling about her and I was right. DayNesha makes that lip smacking noise before she speaks and I've always thought that was annoying I roll my eyes at it. She said with sarcasm " Oh look it's Dakota and her tiny whore". I go to move and Dakota puts her arm out stopping me. She said with sarcasm as she looked up at DayNesha " Don't you have something better to do than run that fat ass mouth of yours". I snicker at the comment and DayNesha gives us a sarcastic smile. She said as she glared at us " Keep running your mouth and I'll toss that little bitch off the Henley Street bridge and into the Tennessee river". I said with sarcasm " I'd like to see you try". DayNesha said to Dakota " I'm not giving up Dakota.. I know you like me too.. you just don't want to admit it".. Dakota said " I have told you thousand times that I don't when are you gonna understand that?" I said with sarcasm " Looks like never". DayNesha said to me " Shut the fuck up". I said with sarcasm " Make me". The line starts to move and DayNesha rudely pushes pass Dakota and me getting infront of us. Now I'm even more pissed. As DayNesha starts to move forward I scoop my foot quickly infront of her feet and she hits the floor on her stomach. Everyone busts out laughing Dakota is laughing too as She whispered to me " You're so bad". she smiles at me. DayNesha jumps up and spins around staring down at me as she stands really close to me. She said " I'm gonna crush you like a bug!" She grabs my right shoulder and a Professor Male walks up and said " Is there a problem here ladies". DayNesha puts her arm around my neck and pulls me to her body. My head is right by her boobs she is a D. DayNesha gives him a fake smile and said " No not all. just making friends with the freshmen". He looks suspicious but didn't see everything so he nods his head and walks off. DayNesha tightens her arm around my neck and pulls me to her boobs. She whispered as she looked down at me " Keep it up and I'll smother you with these". She releases me and turns around walking out of the cafeteria. Dakota said " Are you okay?" I said " Yeah I'm fine.. she's just an ass". Dakota said " I wish you could have knocked her out". I said " Trust me it took everything for me not too". We went through the line and got our food and walked to a table. Soon Kyle, Jane, Jason, Shana, Jacob, Kelly, Mandi join us. As we sit there chatting and eating a group of loud and drunk Frat guys walk in and wait in line for food. I spot one of them he is a white guy in his early twenties wearing a green baseball cap that says Alpha Tau Omega on the front with the Omega symbol. He has flirted with me a few times while running around campus wasted with his buddies. They get their food and as they pass by our table they all whistle at me, Jane, Kelly, Shana and Mandi. We roll our eyes and ignore them as they pass by.
