Chapter 55

P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

A week goes by and everything cooled down until Donna, Maria and Robby started causing trouble again. Their rampage has intensified more. They now have several chop shops scattered across the city even leading into other counties. There are countless demons helping corrupt humans collect and strip more cars. Jacob's uncle who is a cop said that the Cocaine epidemic in Tennessee keeps growing at a very fast rate and that things are only gonna get worse. He's right cause the world as we know it now will never be the way it was. My mom was raised in the 60's and said she couldn't remember when the world felt peaceful. When she was a teenager John F. Kennedy was assassinated in 1963 the president. Then on April 4, 1968 two weeks before I was born Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated  because he was a black president who fought hard to end Racism. My parents were never racist but back then they weren't allowed to be friends with people who were black and they weren't allowed to go to the same school or even drink from the same water fountains until 1964 when they ended Segregation in public places. Then in 1980 John Lennon was killed in New York by a crazed fan. So many bad things have happened in this world and it never seems to stop I pray and hope that in the future things will be better. Martin Luther King Jr. changed everything for the African American's if he hadn't I would have never met Dakota or got to be with her because she's mixed. Today is April 1, 1986 it's April fool's day. Jokes are fine until you cross the line and either hurt someone's feelings or worse injure someone because you played a dumb prank. People are cruel sometimes when it comes to jokes. They joke about death and Pregnancy which in my opinion those are two things you should never joke about. After lunch me, Kyle, Jason, Kat and James walk up to the back parking lot and hang out at our cars until lunch time is over. I'm sitting on the trunk of my car with Kyle in between my legs. I'm wearing my Levi blue jean jacket, a black t-shirt that says Queen in gold letters with the band symbol, a black leather belt with silver studs, a pair of dark blue high waisted Lee jeans and my black and white Air Jordan hightops. Kyle is wearing a black t-shirt that says Metallica Master of Puppets, a black leather belt, a pair of dark blue Levi jeans and his black Doc Marten boots. Kyle and I are making out as I hold onto the back of his neck he holds onto my hips. All a sudden I hear Jason say " Kim look out!" I spot a football coming at the back of Kyle's head at a fast rate of speed. I quickly throw my hand up infront of the back of his head and catch the football with the tip hitting the palm of my hand. Kyle jumps in surprise as he felt the wind from it. I bring the football back and show him. I hear laughing and Kyle steps to the right. I spot Brody and Dominic pointing and laughing at us. Brody said to Dominic " How the hell did you miss Kyle's big ass head?" they cackle. Brody and Dominic left us alone there for awhile but they just recently started messing with us again after Brody got out of Juvenile for breaking into cars parked at stores and here at school. I get down off the trunk and start walking across the parking lot and up to them. They have both had growth spurts they are both 6'1". They both smile down at me like idiots with those perverted grins. I said as I gently tossed the football in my right hand " Are you two ever gonna grow up?" I said with sarcasm. They both look at each other and laugh sarcastically. Brody said " You first!" Dominic said " Wait you stopped growing! at like twelve!" They pick at me cause of my height. I said with sarcasm " You're just mad because I tackled you a couple years ago before your balls dropped". Everyone said together " Ohhh!" as they bust out laughing. Brody gets pissed and said " Oh yeah! well I bet you can't now!" I smile at them then said " Let's see about that tough guy". I said to mock him. We walk across the parking lot and over behind the bleachers were the pressbox is above. We go to the left where the top entrance of the bleachers is. Brody and Dominic rush down to the track and hop the fence. I walk down with Kyle, Jason, Kat and James and a few other kids. Brody and Dominic are on the football field waiting impatiently as they run around chasing each other like dogs. They stop when they see me standing there with the football. I toss Brody the football and he catches I said " Take off". I take off my blue jean jacket and hand it to Kyle. Brody grins and takes off running across the grass with the football in his right hand. Dominic is infront of me guarding the way. I dash past him quickly as he swipes the air. I use my telekinetic speed and agility to quickly catch up to Brody who is in the middle of the field. As I chase him I spot Dominic behind me a ways trying to catch up. Brody gets over near Kyle and the other and I see an opening. I dive through the air with my right shoulder pointed at his waist. I connect with him and he exclaims as he crashes to the ground on his stomach. I land on the ground beside him on my right side. He lays there on his stomach as I get up from the ground. I said as I looked down at him " Looks like you lost that bet". I hear footsteps approaching me from behind at a rapid pace. Kyle said " Kim behind you!" I quickly turn around and Dominic is diving through the air headed straight for me. Right as he gets close I quickly spin out of the way and he crashes into Brody who was getting up. They exclaim as they hit the ground together one of them farted as they landed. Everyone bust out laughing hysterically as Brody and Dominic argue over who did it. They are both up shoving each other. Brody said as he shoved Dominic " Man you cut the cheese!" Dominic said as he shoved him back " Who ever smelt it dealt it!" Brody said to him " Stop playing butt darts with those college dudes!" He said making a gay accusation. Dominic tackles him to the ground and they wrestle around. Everyone laughs and just walks away. We all walk back up to the back parking lot and back down to the courtyard and back to class.
