P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

One Month Later..

It's been a month since Kelly tried to return to 1982. She went back there before we fell in love as teens to kill my teenage self and erase my adult self from the present time in 1994. But she didn't count on Kookie using the amulet to blast my soul out of my body leaving me dead like what Donna did to Debby a few years ago. Kelly almost succeeded in erasing me forever but Mom and the others got there in time and saved me Mom found out that Kelly raped me when I was fourteen. Debby and Terri manipulated the spell to avoid Mom finding out that I'm bisexual and that I used to date Kelly back then. Mom was so upset when we returned to Debby and Jack's house. I could see it in her eyes that it was hurting her. But now she's obsessed with vanquishing Kelly for good she has been making potions ever since then but she needs Kelly's blood to do that. I told her not to confront Kelly or try to get her blood. So she hasn't but she's ran out of potions. Dana had Alex on October 22nd and she looks like Xander. Dakota and Macy have been dating for a month now. I'm happy for her Macy is a nice girl but I can't help but feel like they are moving a little fast. I'm not gonna say anything to Dakota because I want her to be happy she deserves to be ever since Julia she hasn't wanted to date and I understand why. A few weeks ago a new girl got a job at the Accounting firm here. I was surprised when I saw her. Remember back in 1985 when I was at East Towne with Jane and Shana? Well, a teenage girl approached me and started flirting with me her name was Kim. I politely turned her down because I was already dating Kyle and I had just started dating Dakota. The woman at the office is that teenager from 1985. Her name is Kim Jackson and she is now twenty-three years old the same age as Macy and a year younger than Karen, Holly, Jimmy, Shane, and Dana. She was happy to see me and we clicked right away as friends. She is also bisexual but isn't dating anyone. I told her that I was engaged to Kyle and she was happy for me. She apologized to me for coming at me so strongly back then and I told her that she didn't have to apologize she was young and wanted to date someone. She comes down to the Café to have lunch with me and Dakota now. Today is Monday, November 14, 1994; Kyle and I up cooking some breakfast fried eggs and toast. Kyle is off today and Friday. I'm standing there as the eggs start to cook. Kyle is standing behind me holding my waist. I look up at him and we kiss softly. We kiss for a minute then I flip the eggs over and let them cook the rest of the way while the coffee maker is brewing our coffee. The coffee is done and Kyle walks over making our cups as I put our eggs on the plates. I turn off the stove eye and move the pan to the back one. I'm at the countertop getting the toast out of the toaster while Kyle is beside the fridge at the coffee maker. I get the plates as he's carrying our cups to the table. We sit down and begin to eat. Kyle said, " So how is the new girl doing so far?" I said, " She's doing great". Kyle said, " That's good". Kyle and I are getting married in April here in our backyard we've been planning the wedding lately. Kyle smiled at me and said, " I can't wait to finally marry you beautiful". I smiled at him and said, " I can't wait either Handsome". We lean over kissing softly, Kyle looks at me and says " After breakfast, we'll have some fun in the shower". I grin at him as I blush a little. Ever since what Kelly pulled last time, Kyle and I have been all over each other. I mean we usually are but more so lately which I'm not complaining about at all I love it. Kyle said " How are things with Dakota and Macy?" I said, " Pretty good so far". I said with an unsure expression on my face. Kyle said " But?" I said, " Macy seems a little off". Kyle said " How?" I said, " At first she was bubbly now she seems cocky.. and I've noticed she bosses Dakota around a little.. like Kelly does people she dates". Kyle said, " Macy is just comfortable with Dakota what it sounds like and they have a five-year age difference Macy is gonna seem like that cause she's still young". I said, " You're right.. I can't help but notice things.. I feel like they're moving a little too fast Macy has already moved in with Dakota at her house". Kyle said, " Okay yeah that's moving fast.. already moving in with each other". I said, " But I don't want to say anything... Besides Macy knows that Dakota and I dated in College and I don't want her to take it wrong if I was to say something because I'm the ex-girlfriend". I said " You think it would upset Dakota?" I said, " Yeah both of them". Kyle said " Was Macy cool with you and Dakota being Ex's?" I said, " Yeah she didn't have a problem with it". Kyle said, " I would just keep our opinions to ourselves so we don't upset one of them". I said, " I will.. I just want Dakota to be happy". We finished eating and put our dishes in the sink. Kyle said, " I'll get the dishes later.. come let's go shower". He winks at me as he holds my waist. We went upstairs to our bedroom and into the bathroom. We took off our clothes and Kyle starts the shower as he adjusts the water I smile as I smack his butt cheek. He raises and turns around grinning down at me. He pulls me close and kisses me softly. As we stand there and kiss he reaches down and grabs my butt. I grin at him and He said with a wink " Get your sexy ass in there". I get in and walk up to the shower head getting my hair wet as Kyle climbs in behind me. I turn around facing him he reaches up and pulls the shower head up so the water hits his face as he wets his hair. I watch as the water runs down his hard six-pack. I pull the shower head back down and the water is running down my back. He holds my face gently and we start kissing until we are making out passionately as my back is against the shower wall. We are sitting at a table outside in the courtyard out in front of the restaurant. Dakota is sitting across from me like always, and Kim is sitting to the left of us. We are chatting and looking at the menus. I spot Macy walking up in a black collared shirt, a pair of black jeans, and a pair of black low-top Converses. Her hair is a dark blonde and is tied back in a ponytail her eyes are light brown. She's tall about 5'7" and weighs a little more than Dakota. Kim is 5'1" and weighs a little least than me. I have more muscle tone than her. Kim's hair comes to her shoulders it is brown and her eyes are light brown. As Macy approaches the table I watch as her smile fades. Dakota looks up at her with a smile. Macy said with a dull tone of voice " What can I get you?" Dakota said, " I'll have the chicken salad with ranch and a small bag of plain chips". She looks at me with this glare. I said as I ignored the look " I'll have the ham salad with ranch and a small bag of cool ranch Doritos". She looks up at the other Kim with that same glare. She said, " I'll have the plain salad with ranch and a small bag of pretzels". She exhaled a little then said " What to drink?" Dakota said, " I'll have a Coke". I said, " I'll have a Pepsi". Kim said, " I'll take a Dr. Pepper". We close the menus and Macy gets them she snatches mine from my hand and we just stare at each other briefly. She turns around and walks back to the restaurant. I don't know what her problem is but she better relax she's starting to get on my nerves a little. Dakota said " Kim?" Both of us looked at her and she smiled. Me and Kim look at each other and we giggle softly. Dakota said, " I think we need some nicknames so you two don't get confused". Kim said, " I go by K.J. Sometimes.. you guys can call me that". I said " Are you sure?" She smiled at me and said, " Yes.. besides you're the only Kim here". Dakota smiles at me from across the table. I said, " Yeah that's all I've ever been called I hate my first name.. My Mom called me Kimberly when I was a teenager if I was in trouble". Dakota looked at me and said " So Kim?" I looked at her and She said, " Are you alright? You seemed like something was bothering you a minute ago". K.J. is looking at me because she saw Macy snatch the menu out of my hand. I looked at Dakota then said as I lied " I'm fine.. you know me I always look mad.. my dad used to call me.. his grumpy little gremlin". They both giggle softly as I smile at them. K.J. said " Did they feed you after midnight?" We all giggled and I said playing along " Nope". with a grin. Dakota said, " Gremlins is such a classic I watch it every year around Christmas". I said, " I used to watch National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation with my parents". K.J. said, " That was hilarious". I said as imitated Cousin Eddie's line " Shitter was full". We bust out laughing. I see Macy coming back and our laughter calms down. She puts our food and drinks down and then walks back to the restaurant. We started eating our lunch and continued talking. After we were done eating Dakota got up to go to the bathroom. K.J. looked at me and said, " Macy seems sweet". in a sarcastic tone. She was smiling at me as I said " Okay.. She seems a little rude lately". K.J. said " Have told Dakota?" I said, " No.. I don't want to upset her or Macy.. Dakota seems happier now and I don't want to ruin that by saying anything.. I could be taking Macy wrong". K.J. said, " I saw her snatch that menu up.. and the look she gave you was personal.. I think she's got some feelings about you she hasn't shared with Dakota out of fear of upsetting her". I said, " I don't know.. I'm just gonna ignore it for Dakota". Dakota came back and we paid for our lunch then walked back down to the office.
