Chapter 51

P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

Last time Jason tasted my blood and started freaking out after taking his pills he snapped and attacked me in his bedroom. Jane had no choice but to use her powers on him. When we ran down stairs he jumped on me again but that time he bit into my neck and fed off me. James had just walked in and Jason wouldn't let me go even after Jane and James pleading for him to. James shot him with a tranquillizer dart that knocks out vampires. He then walked into the kitchen and got a healing potion from the fridge and got me to drink it. After I was healed he went and got a human blood reversal potion from the fridge and poured it down Jason's throat. When Jason woke up he felt really bad and apologized profusely as he cried. I wasn't upset with him neither was Jane because we knew that wasn't actually him. James discovered that the blood pills didn't have wolves blood in them it was my blood. Someone extracted out the wolves blood then injected mine in the pills. James said the reason Jason went nuts was because my blood type is AB negative which is a rare blood type and alot of vampires love that type of blood. I think Donna had something to with that because I wouldn't put it pass her to make my best friend's boyfriend try to eat me literally. Today is October 28, 1985; Kelly is going to have Kevyn on Halloween she will be going to the hospital that night. Mandi has been hanging around Kelly's mansion again but from what everyone else says they are just friends and that Kelly is single still. Kelly seems different too lately. Maybe it's because she's about to give birth. Mom has been back at work since Tuesday but she has been restricted to desk work since her shoulder is still healing and she still has to wear her sling. Dakota is on fall break so is Jane, Shana, Jacob and technically Kelly. I just got done fixing my hair, I put my towel on the hook attached to the back of my bedroom door. I walked over to my vanity with the mirror attached to it and put on my deodorant and sprayed my Tova perfume on my shirt. I'm wearing my Levi Tucker blue jean jacket, a dark grey t-shirt that says Def Leppard with a British flag behind it, a black belt with silver studs, a pair of high waisted Ralph Lauren blue jeans and my black and white Air Jordan hightops. I pick up my beeper and my keys off my nightstand as I walk out of my room. I walk down stairs into the foyer then turn left walking down the hallway to the kitchen. I walk up to the back door and open it letting Zeke back inside. He walks across the floor and over to his water bowl getting a drink. I walk down the hallway and pull my backpack off the rack on the wall. I hear Zeke's footsteps down the hallway he passes by me turning right into the living room. I walk in there and he's laying on the couch. I pet his head then turn around walking over to the front door I open it and walk out on the front porch. As I'm locking the door I hear voices I turn around spot that thirteen year old kid Joey across the street. He is standing on the sidewalk talking to a white man in his early twenties. Joey hands him some cash and the man hands Joey a bag. He just sold him drugs I get instantly pissed as I start walking down the steps I toss my backpack to the ground by my car and walk across the street. As I'm walking down the sidewalk the man sees me and gets nervous he turns around and takes off running as I start chasing after him using my telekinetic speed and agility. I said " Get back here asshole!" I leap onto his back and knock him to the ground. He said as he lied " I didn't do anything! relax!!" I turn him over and reach my hand into his jacket pulling out a bag with several small bags of Cocaine in it. I said as I held the back infront of his face " You just sold a kid Cocaine! Now tell me you didn't do anything!" He lied " I didn't know he was a kid!" I said " Bullshit! if I ever see you around here again I swear I'll call the fucking cops! you got that asshole?!" He is shaking as he shakes his head yes. I get off of him as I hold the drugs in my hand he gets up and holds out his hand wanting the drugs. I said sarcastically " Oh you want this?" I purposely drop it into the sewer below. He said " You bitch!" I said " Next time you'll learn not to sell that shit to a kid! Get the fuck out of here!! NOW!!" He takes off running down the sidewalk then turns left running down the next one. I turn around Joey is still standing there. I walk up to him and said " Give me the bag Joey". He starts to say something and said in a firm tone " Now.. or I'll tell your parents". He pulls the bag out of the front pocket of his jacket and hands it to me. I said " What were you thinking?" He said " I just wanted to try it". I said " This is really bad for you and it's not safe to get caught up in people will kill you over this". Joey looks down at the ground then back up at me. He said " I'm sorry". I said " Don't ever do that again.. please". He just looks at me and I said " Promise me". He smiles and said " I promise Kim". I said " Thank you". I drop it into the sewer below and Joey said " Why were you so upset?" I look over at him and said " Cause I had a good friend of mine die from a Cocaine overdose last year".. It was Rick but he was technically killed by Kelly but they ruled it as an overdose but I can't tell Joey that my demon ex-girlfriend killed him. I see sympathy in Joey's eyes He said " I'm sorry that happened". I said " And you are way too young to be doing drugs.. so promise me you will stay away from them?" Joey said " I promise". I said " Good now get to school". He said " I actually missed the bus could you possibly give me a ride?" I said " Yeah sure you go to Wilson middle right?" He shakes his head yes. I said " Come on". He follows me across the street to my driveway I pick up my backpack and we get in my car. I take I-275 from West Oldham Avenue and drive down as I'm driving Joey said " So did you, your mom and those other women really get dragged by a gang of biker women?" I look over at him and back on the road I said as I kept my eyes on the road " Yeah it's true". Joey said " What happened?" I said as I watched the road " My ex-boss pulled a gun on me and my bestfriend Shana and threatened to kill us". He said " So you guys just bailed?" I said " Yeah we ran from them through the mall then we ran out to Shana's car and she started with it them chasing us on their motorcycles". Joey said " That must have been insane to be in a high speed chase like that". I said " It was". Joey said " I heard you got shot is that true?" I shake my head then said " I got shot in the back of my left shoulder but it missed an artery so I got really lucky not to bled out". Joey said " I'm glad you, your mom and your friends made it". He said with a smile. I smile back at him as I turn on Mineral Springs and drive down to White oak lane turning right into the front entrance of the school. I stop the car in the car rider lane and Joey said " Thanks Kim I appreciate it". I said " You're welcome and stay out of trouble". He smiles and said " Yes Ma'am". He opens the door and gets out of the car closing the door. His friend from the last time blushes as He said in a shy tone " Hey Kim". I wave at him then pull off driving down to the exit where I turn left driving pass the front of the school.
