Chapter 61

P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

It's been two weeks since Mom's birthday when me and her had a sleepover with Jane, Debby and Terri. We woke up that morning to Debby circling around the Pentagram in the foyer and she was whispering. When Jane touched her she stopped and looked up at us with an ominous look as her blue eyes turned red. She said in a demonic voice " Debby's not here". We saw Xander heal Debby but we didn't know that Maria had released her venom inside Debby. Jane remembered that Jason once told her that Vampire-Demons are different from normal Vampires that their venom works slower inside a body than instantaneously like a normal one so we never knew Debby had been infected. Right after Terri made the potion Jane had asked to do it so Terri gave it to her. Jane destroyed the potion and attacked us then untied Debby and they teleported out of the house. The reason Jane had turned was because Debby did. They are Mother and Daughter and are connected by their bloodline so changing Debby also changed Jane same if it would have happened to me and my mom. We got Jane and Debby back but vanquishing Donna, Maria and Robby is way more difficult than we thought. They are upper level and very powerful demons like Kelly so you can't just stab them or rip their heads off you need their blood to make a vanquishing potion but killing an upper level demon and living to tell is a different story many have tried and many have failed and the reason Kelly vanquished Josie was because she wasn't a Vampire-Demon like the others she was a normal Vampire. Kyle and I got the call that our apartment was ready the day after Mom's birthday and we started the process of moving our things from our parents' houses and over to the apartment. We got an apartment over in Windsor Court with Jane, Jason and Dakota. We live in the same building but a door down from Jason and Jane in apartment #9. We got everything moved with Jason, Jacob, Kelly, Mom, Debby, Xander, Dana, Karen and Jimmy's help. It took us about four days to get everything moved we were settled in on the 29th of July. School started up on August 4th and it was a little chaotic. You thought high school was crazy? wait until you get to College. There are thousands of Students and Professor's crawling all over the campus. Being new it's hard to get around the campus without a map but sometimes that doesn't help. I even showed the map to Mom cause she went to Finway College so did Debby and Terri. Mom was looking at the map and said that they changed some things since she left in 1971. Today is Monday August 11, 1986; I have been in classes since 8:00am this morning. I had to stop working at the bank for now until summer break then I can work because most banks are closed on the weekends and that's the only days I'm not in class. I'm only taking three classes a day cause the classes are at least three hours long. But Tuesdays and Thursdays I only take two which let's me get out at 1:00pm instead of 4:00pm. Like today I went to my math class this morning from 8-10. I just got out of my English class and it's 1:00pm so it's time for me to take lunch. Jane is in the Nursing Education building which is right beside the Neyland Stadium. My last class is Business, the building is called Holden College of Business named after a alumni member David E. Holden. It is also by the Stadium so Jane and I are walking distances from each other. She paged me and asked if I wanted to meet for lunch and I said yes. Kyle had his first class at the College of Business he is on his way from his English class to meet me and Jane for lunch. We all meet at the Student Union Cafeteria. Jane and I are in line chatting when I spot Kelly and Mandi walking in. Jane sees me looking at the door and looks back at them walking to the back of the line. Jane turns back to me and said " Seems like you can never get away from her". I said " I know.. But I'm stuck with her for life now because of Kevyn but I love Kyle and Kevyn so I'll deal with her if I have to". Jane said " I will give her credit she's changed a lot since she had Kevyn but she's still the same old Kelly". I said " Definitely". Jane said " I just hope the future isn't too bad when Kevyn is an adult". I said " I always think about that too. I can't help but wonder if Kyle and I rub off of her and she becomes nothing like Kelly". Jane said " I don't mean to sound like this.. but I don't see that happening with Kelly being her mother". I said " I know.. and I know it will mess with Kyle because Kevyn can't be like us". Jane said " Have you and him thought about having kids in the future?" I smile at the idea and said " Yeah.. but now we are in College that's definitely a future idea". Jane said with a smile " Jason and I have been talking about having kids. I want a girl and a boy". I said " I just want one preferably a girl". Jane said " I've already been thinking about names". I said " Me too.. I wanna name my daughter Carly Elizabeth". Jane smiles and said " That's beautiful.. I wanna name my girl Erica Nicole and the boy Nickolas Taylor. I don't mind giving her my first name since I don't go by it and Taylor is Jason's middle name". The line finally moves and we both get a salad, a red apple and a bottle of water. We find a table and sit down. Kelly and Mandi walk behind Jane to the table next to us. Kelly smiles at me with that evil grin and sits down next to Mandi who gives me a nod. I spot Kyle outside the cafeteria talking to a bright blonde headed girl who looks about my age. She's tall about 5'8" and most likely weighs 150 lbs. Jane looks back and sees the girl talking to Kyle. We can't hear them but she keeps twirling the end of her hair as she talks. Jane looks back at me and said " She's totally flirting with Kyle". I take a drink of my water then put the lid back on. I said " She can flirt all she wants but when she touches him then I have a problem". Jane giggles softly then said " You're like me you're Territorial protecting what's already yours." I said " Damn straight". I said with a smile as Jane smiles with me. Jane looks back and then said to me " She's cute". I look at her then said " She's alright". Jane giggles then said " Are you not in blondes?" I said " No I do like blondes but not ones that pretend to be". Jane and I both start giggling. Kyle gives the girl a friendly smile and turns around walking in she walks away from the front doors and down the side of the building. Kyle gets his food and walks up to our table. He takes off his backpack and hangs it on the back of the chair then sits down. He leans over and gives me a kiss. Jane said " Who's the chick?" I smile at Jane and Kyle said " I think her name is Heather she's in my English class. She keeps flirting with me she was asking me out when I was standing outside but obviously I told her I was very much taken". He said with a grin as he looked at me. I said playfully " Better be.. don't make me punch a bitch". Kyle and Jane giggle. Kyle said messing with me " Hon you'd have to jump to hit her". I playful push his arm as him and Jane giggles. Jane said " I know it was bad at the moment but you have to admit it was kinda funny watching your mom and Terri fight with my mom because of how tall she is". I said " Yeah it was.. and your mom has a hell of reach". Jane said " Yeah she does.." After lunch Kyle and I are standing outside the cafeteria. I have my arms around his neck as he holds onto my waist pulling me close as we stand there kissing. He smiles down at me and said " I love you Babe.." I said " I love you too Handsome". He said " I'll see you after class". I said " Sounds good". He gives me one more kiss while he does I notice Heather sitting on a bench a few inches away from us it's right beside the entrance of the Cafeteria to the right. she is looking at book but she keeps watching us. After the kiss he smiles at me as he turns around walking by the bench. Heather watches him as he walks by and down the sidewalk by the College of Business. She turns her head and looks at me. She smiles friendly and waves at me so I smile and wave back at her. Kelly and Mandi walk out of the cafeteria. Kelly kisses Mandi and she kisses her back as they kiss Heather looks at them with disgust. Mandi walks by the bench Heather is sitting on and Kelly walks up to me. She said " Walk me to class?" I said " I'm going to Business". She said with a grin " Me too". We walk by Heather still sitting on the bench and down the sidewalk. I said " Are you studying to be an Accountant too?" I really hope she says no. She said " I'm studying to be an Investment Banker so I have to take some classes in Accounting". I'm relieved but she's in a similar field like me so there is a possibility we could cross paths professionally. She said " Who knows we may see each other on the job". she said with grin. I give her tight smile cause I really wished I could escape her sometimes.. I still get the flashbacks off and on especially when she's around for awhile. Kelly looks at me as we are walking. She said " Kim can I ask you something?" I felt slightly nervous at the question. I said " What is it?" She said " Are you still mad at me? you know after everything that happened". How could she ask me that? she should know it still upsets me to this day and I've been trying to live with it since then. I force down what I was thinking then I said " I'm not gonna lie and say that it still doesn't affect me cause it does sometimes but I don't let it consume me". We are standing out infront of the building. She looks down at me then said " I just wanted you to know that I'm sorry.." I'm shocked that she actually apologized to me but sorry doesn't fix everything. She's holding onto the straps of her backpack I see the tattoo on inner right wrist that still says my name with the firecracker and the fuse leading to the i in my name. I said " Well thank you for saying it". She said " No problem". she gives me a smile then turns around walking up to the front doors. After class I'm outside in the parking lot down by the College of Business waiting by my car when I spot Heather once again she's standing on the sidewalk by a street sign right infront of the bridge that has that sidewalk leading down to the Business College below the railing it says The University of Finway. She's watching the stairs over by the college as if she's waiting on someone. I see Kyle coming down the stairs and Heather smiles as she sees him she says something but I can't hear her Kyle says something back as he walks by her and down to the crosswalk that leads to the parking lot. He smiles as he walks down to me and gives me a kiss I look out the corner of my eye and Heather is still standing there staring at us. I pull away and Kyle said as he looked down at me " What's wrong?" I said " Okay.. you know that I'm not a jealous person but it seems like Heather is following you around a lot". Kyle said " Yeah I didn't want to worry you but I think she is". I said " Have you said anything to her?" Kyle said " Not yet I wanted to be sure that she was and if she is then I will tell her not to". I said " You don't want me to tell her". I said in a territorial  way and he grins at me. Kyle said " I'm sure it's harmless". I said " When someone follows you around everywhere that usually means they are obsessed with you". Kyle said " Like I said I will tell her to stop". He puts his arm around me and kisses my forehead. We get in my car and as I'm getting it started Kyle said " Too bad you're dating Dakota.. Heather might like you too". he said messing with me. The car starts and I rev the engine a little. I said " She's not my type". He said " Why not?" as he continues messing with me. I said " I don't like fake blondes". Kyle giggles. I back out of the parking spot and drive down the parking lot. I said " I don't want you to think I'm jealous cause I'm not". Kyle said " Maybe a little". he said with a grin cause he's still playing with me. I smile as I stop at the stop sign. I said with a grin " It's called Territorial". Kyle is grinning from ear to ear he's so enjoying this. He puts his hand on my knee as I shift and pull off turning right down the road right infront of the Stadium. I said as I drive " You are so enjoying this aren't you?" He said " Yeah it's fun". I feel his hand slowly move up my leg so slow that I realize he's teasing me as I drive by the construction site of The Thompson Boling Area that will be completed next year. I stop at the red light at Stadium Drive and his fingers graze the front of my jeans and he starts unbuckling my belt as I look around making sure there isn't anybody around. I said as my face blushed " What are you doing?" He just grins as he's leaned over pulling my belt loose he undone the button on my jeans and pulled the zipper down. The light is still red I watch as he puts his hand down the front of my jeans and slides it into my red laced panties. I grip the steering wheel fighting back a moan as his fingers find my clit. Kyle unlocks the door and walks in I walk in behind him. I close the door and lock it as he has his back to me taking off his shoes by the wall. He turns around and grab his face pulling him into a deep passionate kiss. He moans into the kiss and kisses me back with passion. He grabs my hips and lifts me up putting me against the door.
