Chapter 52

P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

It has been three months since Kevyn was born and since we seen Donna. After I injured her with Kelly's powers after drinking the vanquishing potion. I knew it couldn't kill me so I took it and all it did was gave me Kelly's powers temporally. I have had them before like that time Ashley and Natalie swapped our powers making me have Kelly's, her having Jason's, Kyle having mine, Jane having none and Jason having Jane's powers. Having Kelly's powers was very strange cause you can feel this overwhelming feeling of evil inside your body that is desperate to come to the surface and it is a hard feeling to overcome I give her that cause I don't see how she does it. Over the past three months Kelly has changed a lot becoming a parent made her grow up more but she still has that devil may care attitude. But Kevyn comes first before anything including herself she's still an asshole though but that's just her. We've been better than we have been since I broke up with her we are actually friends for once and she seems to be fine with it. Kyle is beyond happy he spends as much time as he can with Kevyn. Roy and Renee have come around and started letting Kyle keep Kevyn overnight at their house sometimes with me and to give Kelly a break. Kevyn has dark brown hair like Kelly's and her eyes are hazel green the same color as Kyle's but Kevyn still looks a lot like Kelly she just has Kyle's eyes and to only be three months old well almost four she has already learned how to crawl around on the floor and use things to pull herself up and stand but not for long. Kelly said once she figured out how to crawl she picked up on it very quickly and now we all three chase her cause she can crawl much faster than a normal human baby and that's why she has advanced so very quickly and already knows how to crawl and pull herself up. Normal human babies usually don't start crawling until at least six months I have a feeling Kevyn will be walking by the time she's seven months old. Austin said Kelly also started crawling at three months and she was walking at six months old. Kevyn is a handful right now at three months old she's gonna be more of one when she's older and walking. Kelly said she's also learned how to use her telekinesis and floats her toys in the air for a few seconds and she's figured out how to teleport Kelly said she plays hide and seek with her and Kelly has to teleport all over her mansion to chase her and when she finds her Kevyn giggles it's cute. she's done it at Kyle's house and scared the hell out of Renee when she teleported into the bathroom as Renee was getting out of the shower. Things have been great with Kelly and Kevyn I'll admit it but I still can never let my guard down fully when Kelly is around. I find myself wondering if we are on a truce with each other or if it's just another trick like always.

Today is February 4, 1986, In April I will be eighteen and Kyle will be eighteen in May. Our Senior year is getting close to being over and right after graduation we are both going into College. I'm studying to be an Accountant which I will need a Bachelor's degree in Accountanting and that will take four years. Kyle is going for a four degree in Business. After school today there is a party going on at David's it's his twenty-second birthday and he's throwing a big party. I drove home while Kyle drove to his house to get ready for the party. I'm upstairs brushing my hair a little then I put on my deodorant and spray a little of my perfume on my shirt. I'm wearing my Levi Tucker blue jean jacket, a light grey Tears for Fears t-shirt, a black leather belt with silver studs, a pair of high waisted Guess blue jeans and my black and white Air Jordan hightops. I turn around and see fire swirling on the floor at a low angle. Kevyn appears from the fire sitting there on her butt. I bend down and pick her up in my arms as she giggles and smiles at me. She plays with the ends of my hair. I see fire swirling infront of me right by my bed at a higher angle than my height. Kelly appears from the fire and sees me holding Kevyn. She said " The little turd tricked me". Kevyn giggles then speaks gibberish. I said to mess with Kelly " Outsmarted by yourself I see". Kelly rolls her eyes playfully and I grin then hand Kevyn to her. Kevyn gets excited as she bounces in Kelly's right arm she gently touches Kelly's face with her tiny hand then speaks gibberish. Kelly said as she looked at Kevyn " I thought you went to Daddy". Kevyn grins then Kelly said to me as she looked at me " He was in a towel when I teleported in his room I scared the crap out him a little". I give her a look and Kelly said " Don't worry I didn't see anything. It's nothing I haven't seen before". She said with a grin. I said " She's been teleporting to me lately last time she teleported right on my lap while I was downstairs on the couch. My mom nearly had a heart attack when she seen Kevyn suddenly there". Kelly cackles softly as she looks at Kevyn. She looks at me then said " I bet she scared the piss out of you too". I said " Oh big time". Kevyn looks at me and grins. Kelly said " I'm glad she likes you". she said with a smile. I said " Me too". I said " Are you coming to David's party?" Kelly said " Yeah David actually invited me. My dad is gonna watch Kevyn for me overnight". I said " I guess I'll see you there". Kelly said " Is Cooper gonna be there?" I said " Yeah probably.. just be nice please". Kelly smirks at me then said " I will if she is". She said to Kevyn " Tell Step mommy bye". Kevyn waves at me and I smile waving back at her. Kelly teleports away by the use of fire and the fire descends down into the floor. I walk over to the front door and grab my keys off the night stand. I open the door walking out and down stairs to the foyer I turn left going down the hallway to the kitchen I open the backdoor and let Zeke inside. I close the door and walk back down the hallway and up to the front door. I open it and walk out on the front porch closing the door behind me. I turn around and lock it with my keys. I drive over to Kyle's house and wait for him to walk out. He walks out to my car and gets inside. He smiles and leans over giving me a soft kiss I smile into the kiss as I kiss him back. He looks at me and I said " Kevyn visited me earlier". Kyle said " Yeah.. Kelly teleported into my room while I was in a towel she scared the piss out of me". I said to mess with him " Thank god she didn't see anything". He said " Yeah it would have been weird". I pull off and shift to build up speed. I said " She's been surprisingly good for the past three months. Hopefully it's not a trick of hers". Kyle said " Yeah I can't help but think the same too. Just be careful around her please". I said " Why would I need to be careful?" Kyle said " Cause I think she's still in love with you and I don't want her returning to her old ways if you know what I mean". I said " I think she is still too but she hasn't done anything or said anything". Kyle said " I mean if you just want to fool around with her I guess you could but I wouldn't want her thinking anything else". I said " I don't want to.. if I sleep with her she will start acting like she did when I was dating her.. and I don't ever want to go there again.. Kelly and I are better off as friends". Kyle said " I didn't mean anything by it.. I just wanted you to have a girl to enjoy yourself with since Dakota and you broke up". I said " I know you didn't.. I just couldn't make myself go there again.. after all Kelly put me through." We arrive at David's at 6:00pm. I spot Dakota's car parked on the road as I turn off my car. Kyle said as he looked at Dakota's car " Are you and Dakota still friends?" He looks at me and I said " I hope so.. she's been angry and distance with me lately". Kyle looks guilty and He said " I'm sorry she feels like she does because of me". I said " It's not your fault.. ever since Kevyn was born she's changed and it's not just you that bothers her it's also Kelly". Kyle said " She did tell you that she could basically never compete with me or Kelly". I said " Yeah.. and that wasn't fair of her to say that to me.. She knows how I feel about her and continues to think that I don't actually love her".. I said as tears fell from my eyes. Kyle puts his hand on my face and wipes my tears. Kyle said " I love you more than anything in this world Baby.. and I know for a fact that you love me.." I smile at him and give him a soft kiss and he kisses me back. We get out of the car and close the doors. We walk up to the door and Kyle knocks on it. The sound of 1980's rock blares inside. The door opens revealing David with a can that is green and says Rolling Rock premium beer extra pale it's an old beer from the 60's and the 70's everyone has been drinking it lately. We walk in and I spot Dakota standing infront of the dining room table with Daynesha and Tonya they all three have Rolling rock beer cans in their hands. Dakota sees me and gives me a dirty look so does Daynesha and Tonya they are upset with me because of Dakota being hurt over our break up. Kyle and I walk by the TV and by the Stereo and by them to the kitchen. Kyle opens the fridge and pulls out two cans of Rolling Rock for us. I take the beer and open as we walk over to the sink where Jason and Jane are standing together. Jane sees my face and said " What's wrong?" I motion my head towards Dakota and Jane looks over at them still standing there. Jane said " Just ignore her". she rolls her eyes. Jane is wearing her light blue jean jacket, a black t-shirt that says Def Leppard with the British flag, a black leather belt, a pair of high waisted Ralph Lauren blue jeans and her white and black Adidas forum hightops. As Jane and I chat I spot Kelly and Mandi walking in the front door. Kelly has lost all of her pregnancy weight and weighs as much as she did which was 145 lbs. An eighteen year old guy who I don't know is standing beside the Stereo he sees her and said " Davidson! now the party can really begin!" he said with a drunken slur. He checks Kelly out as she walks by him with Mandi who flips the guy off for checking Kelly out. Kelly is wearing her dark blue Levi jacket, a black and red long sleeve checkered flannel with a white tanktop under it with it buttoned up a few buttons are undone showing the tanktop, a black leather belt with silver studs, a pair of dark blue high waisted Jordache jeans and a pair of black and red Air Jordan hightops. Mandi is wearing a black colored blue jean jacket, a short sleeve flannel shirt that is black and white, a black leather belt, a pair of dark high waisted Lee jeans and a pair of black and white Nike team Convention hightops. As They walk by Dakota, Daynesha and Tonya they all give Kelly a dirty look. Kelly just smirks at them as she passes by. She walks over to the fridge and opens it pulling out two cans of Rolling Rock. She closes it and they walk over standing infront of me and Jane as they snap their beers open. Kelly takes a drink and said as she looked at me " Is she still looking at me?" She's talking about Dakota. I look over and Dakota is looking but she looks away when I look over. I said " She was". Kelly said " She's still being a bitch I see." I said " She just doesn't understand". Kelly said " We aren't even dating anymore. What is she so afraid of?" I said " She thinks I don't love her". Jane said "That's crazy Kim you do love her". Kelly is just staring at me as Jane talked. I said as I stared at Kelly " Try telling Dakota that". Kelly said " Well don't let her ruin this party for you". Jane said " As much as I don't want to agree with Kelly she's right Kim". Kelly smiles at Jane and said " Thank you". Jane said " Don't push your luck Kelly. I still haven't forgotten about the love spell you cast on me". Kelly said " Come on you're still on that?" Jane said " Kelly you basically sexually assaulted me". Kelly said " I swear all I did was kiss you." Jane said " It doesn't matter. It still was against my will". Kelly is getting annoyed she takes a drink of her beer and I give Jane a look. Jane said " But I'll let that slide for now because you have shown all of us that you've changed.. at least for now". Things have been a little tense with Kelly and Jane but Jane is trying to give her a chance. Kelly puts her arm around Mandi then said to me " Mandi has something she wants to say". Mandi looks up at Kelly then at me. She said " Sorry for being a bitch that day you came to the mansion. I will work on things with you for Kevyn". Kelly said " See now that wasn't so hard". I said to Mandi " Thank you". Mandi raises her beer to mine then we both take a drink. Kelly and Mandi are turned around pressed against each other Mandi has her arms around Kelly's neck as she smiles up at her Kelly kisses her looks like they are back together. As the party went on David and some of the other guys started a game of beer pong in the dining room with the table. I walk in the kitchen and open the fridge getting out another beer I close it and there stands Dakota beside the fridge. I said with an attitude " What?" Dakota said with an attitude " Nothing.." I roll my eyes at her attitude. I said to her " Are we gonna have a real conservation? without arguing". Dakota said " There's nothing to talk about Kim". She goes to walk by me and I grab her arm stopping her. She looks down at me and I let her go and she stands there. I said " Please talk to me".. my eyes tear up as I spoke. Her eyes teared up and She said " Fine.. we'll talk but I want you to listen". I said " No.. Dakota you're gonna listen.. I've been listening to you it's your turn". I take her hand and lead her past Daynesha and Tonya who have disapproving looks on their faces as we pass by. We walk by the Tv and by the couch. We walk down the hallway pass the bathroom on the left and to a door in the middle that leads to a laundry room. I open the door and Dakota walks in. I walk in and close it then I lock it as Dakota stands infront of the washer and dryer with her back turned to me. She turns around and sits her beer down on a small metal table again the wall to the right. I sit mine down and said to her " Why don't you believe I love you?" Dakota scoffs then said " Cause I don't". I said " Tell me why you don't". Dakota said " Because you don't have room for me in your heart". I step closer to her as she stares down at me. I said " Believe me there is plenty of room. I have love for a lot of people but there are only two people that have my heart".. I said as tears fell from my eyes. Dakota is just staring down at me with her hands on the washer and dryer. I said " You and Kyle.. I love you both so much it hurts.. and for you to tell me that I don't love you it kills me Dakota because I do love you more than you will ever know.. Now it's up to you decide that and if you can't then I guess we're done".. I turn around and pick up my beer. As my right hand touches the door knob I feel her hand on my right shoulder. I turn around and she takes my beer and sits it back down on the table beside hers. Dakota said " I'm so stupid".. she said as she cried. I said " No you're not.. you're just didn't understand I hope you do now".. Dakota holds my face with her hands and we stare into each other's eyes. She said " I love you too Kim so much".. She kisses me softly and I start kissing her back. As we stand there kissing it gets more intense as we begin kissing passionately. I hear her breathing getting heavy as she starts pulling my belt loose. I groan in pleasure as she grabs me through my jeans. She growls softly and backs me into the door pressing her body against mine as she still holds my vagina through my jeans. I swear if I was a guy I would have the biggest hard on right now. I said as looked up at Daynesha " Call me that again and you will be at the hospital while they figure out how to fix your face after I rearrange it beyond recognition.. Stay the fuck out of our business Dakota is my girlfriend not yours".. Daynesha shakes her head agreeing with me. I let her down and she holds her throat. Tonya said " Oh hell no.. little bitch about to get her ass whipped". Dakota said " Tonya I wouldn't make another step if I were you". she said to warn her. Tonya is 5'8" and weighs about 150 lbs. Kelly is sitting on the couch with Mandi straddling her lap. She said to me " Need help?" I said as I grabbed the back of Daynesha's dreads " Nope just taking out the trash". David opens the front door as I sling her out on the porch. I walk back in and to the hallway. Tonya is laying on her stomach just waking up I grab the back of her belt and pick her up. She said in shock " You are freakishly strong!" I carry her through the hallway as everyone laughs. The door is still open as I toss Tonya out beside Daynesha. They both scramble as they get up and take off running for their car parked behind Dakota's. David closes the door and gives me a high five. Dakota is smiling down at me. I said " I'm sorry about your friends". She said " I don't think they were my real friends anyways". I put my hands on her face and pull her into a kiss and we stand there kissing.
