Chapter 74

 P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

Three weeks later..

It's been three weeks since we got Kelly's soul back after her and Austin escaped from Heather's cube Austin reconstructed before our eyes but Kelly's soul went through the banishment beam and into Terri. It was good and bad when this happened. Good because she saved Terri from being banished and bad because Kelly is a demon and she was inside a Guardian-Witch's body who is basically half Angel. So Austin had to get Kelly out of Terri before she took over and kicked Terri out of her own body and Terri was not thrilled with Kelly being inside her as you could tell. Today is Monday October 26, 1987; I'm in Honors Calculus with Kyle and Kat. As always Heather is sitting behind us being the creep she is. We are all taking notes as Professor Gaines writes out different Formulas. I suddenly feel something in my lap, I look down at a hand quickly moving leaving a Polaroid picture on my lap. I pick it up and look at it. It is a long sleeve black lace dress. At the bottom of the picture wrote in black Sharpie it says " Like my costume for Halloween?" I flip it over and write on the back with my black pen " Why wear that? when you can just go as yourself ". Kat and Kyle are watching me and trying not laugh. I turn around and Heather grins at me as I hand her the Polaroid back. She turns it over and reads what I wrote. She looks up at me with a glare as Kat and Kyle snicker quietly. I smirk at Heather as I turn back around. After class was over we are standing up when Heather says to me " You just think your so funny don't you Kim?" she said with sarcasm. I turn around and said with sarcasm " Yeah I do". Heather is pissed as she stares at us. She said " I try to be nice and you're an asshole to me". I said " You're never nice Heather and besides you don't know the meaning of what No means". Heather said " You're gonna push me too far one day and don't blame me when someone gets hurt or worse". She said with a smirk. I put my hands on the head of the seat and lean close to her. I said as I gave her an intimidating stare " No Heather you're gonna push me too far one day.." Heather scoffs as she walks off. Kyle and Kat are looking at me they are giggling then Kat said a giggle " You're scary Kim". I said " When I need to be". Kyle puts his arm on my waist and I look up at him as he leans down giving me a soft kiss. He pulls away and said " That's why you're my little Fire Cracker". I smile at him as he smiles back. Kat said " That's the perfect nickname cause you have a fiery temper". Kyle said " I actually didn't come up with it sadly". Kat said " Who did?" I said " Kelly did when we were together". Kat said " She did?" I said " Yeah she got tattoo on her inner right wrist that says Kim with a fire cracker at the end with the fuse leading to the i". Kat said " What did you think of the tattoo?" I said " It was pretty but I've always felt like it was bad luck to get someone's name on you". Kat said " Yeah I've always thought it was too". As we walk away I also remember that was the day she came back to school after getting of juvenile she had gotten the tattoo there. We argued in the bathroom over her fight with Dakota on her eighteenth birthday that got them both arrested that night. Kelly broke down and cried in front of me which is something she didn't do much and like always I fell for it then we had sex on the sink. I'm walking to the bridge on my way to English and Business at The Humanities and Social Science building when I spot that same Frat boy with another one wearing the same green hat. They are bullying that very short boy that was taped to the flagpole last year. One has the boy's notebook holding it in the air as the boy tries to reach for it. I get pissed when I see this and I walk up to them. I reach up and snatch the book from the frat guy's hand and give it back to the boy. They both turn around looking down at me they are both the same height 5'6". The Frat guy recognizes me and smiles. He said " Well if it isn't Miss Calculus.. I don't see your boyfriend any where and I think it's time me and you hook up". The boy said " Don't talk to her like that! She's a woman not a piece of meat". They turn around looking down at him. I said to them " Why don't you pick on someone your own size assholes?" They turn back around getting closer to me. The Frat guy said " And what exactly are you gonna do? you little skinny bitch?" I said " You don't want to find out.. walk away now before it's too late". They laugh sarcastically, the one on the left puts his hand on my right shoulder and gets close to my face. He said " Come on baby.. I'll take real good care of you".. He goes to grab my ass and I knee him in the nuts. He exclaims in intense pain as he drops to his knees the other guy takes a swing at me and I catch his fist and flip him over my back. He exclaims as he hits the pavement on his back. The boy is laughing at them and we walk away. As we walk he looks up at me as he holds his books in his hand. He said " That was so cool by the way.. I've never seen a woman flip a grown man like that". I said " I'm a black belt in Karate". He said " So you could have really kicked their asses if you wanted to". I said " Yeah but I was trying not to hurt them too bad". He smiles and said " What's your name?" I said " Kimberly but I go by Kim". He said " I'm Declan". I said " Not to be rude but how old are you?" He smiles and said " I'm Nineteen but I look Twelve because I'm 4'8" which means I'm a Dwarf". I said " I have a friend name Mandi that is 4'10". He said " She's a borderline Dwarf.. you must feel tall around me and her then cause you're short". I said " Yeah I'm only 5'2" so I'm use to looking up at people not looking down". He said " The way you handle those Frat guys tells me that you don't let your size stop you like me.. they could have crushed me". I said " I just don't take shit from anyone". He smiles and said " Thank you for helping me". I said " You're Welcome". He said " I'm in most of your classes by the way.. you probably don't notice me". I said " I've seen you.. are you studying to be an Accountant?" He said " Yeah.. I didn't go to high school here I moved down here from Chicago after I graduated". I said " I've been here all my life". He said " How old are you?" I said " I'm also Nineteen I'll be Twenty in April". He smiles and said " April what?" I said " April 18th". He said " My birthday is April 24th I'm a Taurus". I said " My boyfriend is one too his birthday is May 15th". Declan is pale white, he has short red hair that is combed back with gel and his eyes are light green. We walked to the Humanities and Social science building. He politely opens the door for me and I walk in with him following behind me. We walk into the class room I walk to the last desk of the first row and Declan sits down in the last desk of the second row beside me and we chat until class starts. He is a really nice guy and he's funny. He's a little nerdy and shy but he isn't as shy as Julia was. Speaking of Julia she's doing much better now she's speaking up for herself and isn't nearly as shy as she was but she is still just a little she doesn't wear those clothes anymore she dresses like me and the other girls wearing blue jean jackets and other shirts. Sometimes Julia wears crop tops short like the one Johnny Depp wore in A Nightmare on Elm Street. In my opinion those kind of crop tops look good on men cause Johnny Depp is beautiful and he looked really good in that crop top but Kyle on the other hand is not into those which is fine with me but he would look so hot in one. Julia and Dakota are also officially dating. Julia knows for a fact that she's Bisexual and they started dating at the beginning of October. They get along very well too it makes me feel good to see Dakota happy again. I also think their height difference is cute cause Dakota has to look up at Julia to give her a kiss. I'm walking out of class with Declan as we walk down the hallway we talk about our favorite bands he likes the same ones I do like Journey, Van Halen, and many others. We walk out the doors and start walking down the short bridge that leads to a set of stairs leading down to a sidewalk that leads to a set of stairs leading up to a walkway but there is a small walking area in front. As we step down, we are turned talking when all of a sudden I'm nailed in my left jaw from my blindside. My head turns but I stay on my feet. Declan is so shocked as he exclaims " Oh my god! Kim, are you okay?" I turn my head to left looking at the frat boy from this morning. He is stunned as he looks at me up and down because I didn't fall. Declan is pissed as he shoves the guy. He said, " I can't believe you just hit a woman!!" I'm so pissed as I stare the frat guy down with an intimidating stare that scares the hell out of him. He said, " How the hell did I not lay you out?!" Declan sees me just staring at him... The fuse is lit and the Firecracker is burning. He said to the Frat guy " Dude I would run now if I were you"... He took off running up the stairs as I tossed my backpack down and chased after him using my telekinetic speed and agility to run right on his heels. He stops in the middle of the walkway that has a circle of cement on the ground. I leap high into the air and land on his back knocking him to the ground as this is happening the other frat guy comes running up to help him. I catch his leg as he tries to kick me and I flip him on the pavement beside us. As I hold onto the other guy with my left hand they struggle to get away. I'm sitting on top of the first Frat guy's back I pull the other one on his back and I put the other Frat guy into the other one's shirt making them wear the same shirt. Now they are stuck together I'm standing there laughing with Declan and a few other people that are standing around as they roll around on the ground with the one on the other one's back. They finally get up and walk away fast still stuck in the shirt. I turn and look at Declan, He is still giggling as he hands me my backpack. He stops giggling and said " Okay that was hilarious I have never seen anything like that in my life." I said, " Well it was better than beating the crap out of him". Declan points to my busted lip which is oozing blood. He said as he looked up at me " Are you sure you're okay that was a very hard hit?" I smiled and said, " Yes I promise". He said, " I have to say I'm very impressed.. you are very tough if that had been any other girl she would have been knocked out". We walked to the Student Union and got our lunch as we sat down at the table Declan picked up a white napkin off the table and handed it to me to put on my lip. Kyle and the others show up and sit down. Kyle sees my lip and is stunned. He said " Babe what happened?" I said, " A Frat guy punched me". Kyle gets instantly pissed and goes to get up but I stop him. I said, " I'm fine.. I promise besides I took care of him". Kyle giggled and said " Did you beat the hell out of him?" I said, " Nope.. I put him inside his buddy's shirt". Kyle bust laughing so do Jane, Jason, Kelly, Mandi, Julia, and Dakota. Kelly said as she cackled " You made them wear the same shirt classic.. that's so something I would have done". Declan said to them " You guys should have seen her she was amazing". I said to them " This is Declan". I said as I pointed to them " This is Kyle my boyfriend, my best friend Jane and her boyfriend Jason, Kelly and her girlfriend Mandi, and Julia and Dakota". Julia said to me with a smile " You can say she's my girlfriend". Dakota smiles as she blushes at Julia who leans in kissing her. Declan looks at Kelly, Mandi, Julia, and Dakota then says " So are you guys gay?" Kelly says with a grin " Mandi and I are Bisexual". Julia said, " I'm newly Bisexual". Dakota said, " And I'm a Lesbian". He smiled friendly and said, " I'm totally cool with that.. I'm not that way but I don't mind others being". We all chatted and Mandi asked how tall Declan was cause she could tell he was short and they stood up beside each other and Mandi was amused that she was taller than him Declan didn't mind he's not sensitive about his height you call that little man syndrome.
