Chapter 69

P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

Three weeks later after Spring Break Dakota returned to school, We are friends and have put our break up behind us. I just hate that she got hurt. Cause I know she truly does love me but I made my choice. I love Kyle and I want to spend the rest of my life with him. Dakota will always have a special place in my heart. Dare I even say so will Kelly. Kyle was right it was time to move on and that's what I did. I hope Dakota finds the right girl one day and I hope she treats her well cause if she doesn't she will have to deal with me. After Jesse displayed strength and bravery, The Agency decided to let her join when she turns fourteen in 1994. But Jesse can't lift everything with her Telekinesis. She can't lift a Refrigerator or a car and she can only lift certain people. As you seen she threw Jane and she weighs 140 lbs. But Terri had her practice lifting Debby and she barely got her off the ground she weighs 158 lbs.; Which means Jesse can't lift anyone or anything close to 160 lbs. Plus Debby weighs 18 lbs. more than Jane so that made a difference. Today is Monday, April 6, 1987; My birthday is next Saturday I'm gonna be Nineteen. Heather and Victoria have been quiet but usually that's not a good sign. Which means they are up to something like always. I'm in Calculus with Kyle and Kat as Professor Arnold writes on the chalkboard. Kat writes something on a piece of paper then folds it up and tosses it on my desk. I open it and it says " Hey I saw you coming from the Kappa House earlier this morning. Did you kick Heather's ass lol?" I stare at the note and then look at Kat with a confused expression. I wrote back " I wasn't at the Kappa House this morning". I fold it back up and toss it on her desk. She opens it and reads it with a confused expression. She writes on it then folds it back up and tosses it on my desk and I open it. She wrote, " I swear that was you.. She looked just like you even down to the color of your hair.. Maybe I was seeing things lol". I look over at Kat with a playful eye roll and put the note in the front pocket of my blue jean jacket. After English, I'm on my way to the Student Union when Heather stops me outside around the building that faces the Amphitheatre a place where Students hang out and do homework . I give her a sarcastic look as I look up at her. I said " What do you want?" Heather said with a grin " I hear your birthday is Next Saturday.. What are your plans?" I said with sarcasm " None of your business". She grins evilly and says " Such a little Fire Cracker". I said with a look " Don't call me that". She grinned evilly then said " Kelly gave you that nickname didn't she?" I said with sarcasm " So? What's it to you?" Heather said, " Nothing.. It suits you.. cause you're short and really hot". She winks after she says that. Heather said, " I want to give you something for your birthday". I rolled my eyes and said, " Whatever it is I don't want it". I start to walk off and she steps in front of me and I stop. Heather said " You mean taking my virginity doesn't sound like the perfect birthday present?" I look at her with disgust then I said " Ask Victoria". She made a grossed-out face then said " Ewww.. Old much". I'm starting to get annoyed. I said in a sarcastic tone " I wouldn't touch you with a ten-foot pole". Heather gets mad and says " I have done everything for you! and you still turn me down! I punished my Dad for beating you up!" She looks so desperate and crazy. I said with a hateful tone " I said no for the thousandth time.. Now get the fuck out of my way". We are at the corner of the Humanities and Social Sciences building. As I go to walk by her she grabs my arm. I spin around grabbing her arm pinning it behind her. I force her to the right where the brick wall of the building is. Behind us is The Humanities Lawn-North. I slam her against the brick wall pinning her to it using my strength. She exclaims in slight pain as her face hits the brick wall. I said by her ear quietly " Never touch me.. Do you understand me??" Heather turns her head looking back at me with a grin as blood runs down her right cheekbone. She said, " You are so enjoying this... manhandling me.. it's okay I don't mind". I let go of her and she turns around smiling down at me with enjoyment as the cut on her cheekbone heals and disappears. She said, " If we were to have sex it would be hate sex cause you hate my guts.. Might as well rearrange them why you're at it". She smiles evilly then walks off down the courtyard of McClain Tower that is attached to the Humanities and Social Sciences building. I exclaim in frustration as I nail the brick wall with my fist using my Telekinetic Strike. It cracks and I pull my fist back looking at my bloody knuckles. They aren't broken but I busted them like I did the time I hit the dinner table. I went to the bathroom inside the Student Union and rinsed off my hand then I went back inside the cafeteria.
