Chapter 35

P.O.V/ Kim Austin:

It's been a month since Shana vanquished Amy at the baseball field and it was crazy. I had no idea Shana was that powerful. Kelly looked like she was gonna piss her self cause she was so blown away by what Shana was actually capable of and to be honest it was a little scary. She vanquished Amy with a power called Emotion Beam Emission which means she shot raw beams of pure emotions at Amy and it was enough to kill her. The way I got the premonition was a power called Empathic Projection which shared her premonition with me and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since then. I can't help but wonder if that might have been me holding my future child but I couldn't see the person's face who was holding the baby. I do want children one day and I've always said if I have a little girl I would name her Carly. Today is June 21, 1984; Yesterday was Jane's birthday she turned seventeen. Debby and Jack had a party for her at the house then me and her had a sleepover for her birthday like we've always done since we were little. Kelly tried to wiggle her way into the sleepover like always but Debby said only me. Every time I spent the night with Jane alone Kelly always asked if we had sex and I tell her no because we didn't that's just Kelly being a pervert. She gets on my nerves always asking me that. Today I'm driving my car out to Big Ridge State Park with Kelly and Kyle. It's a park out in Union County Tennessee it's about thirty four minutes away from my house. Kelly didn't feel like driving today so I offered to drive my car. As I'm driving I'm wearing a black tank top, a black bathing suit top under the tank top, a pair of light blue short blue jean shorts and my pair of black and white Vans. Kelly is wearing a dark grey tank top, a dark grey bathing suit top under the tank top, a pair of light blue short blue jean shorts and her grey and red Reeboks her hair is tied back in a ponytail with her long curly bangs to the right. Her ponytail is long it stops at the middle of her shoulder blades it's curly at the end. Kyle is sitting in the back seat behind me he's wearing a black t-shirt, a pair of black swim trunks that come to the middle of his thighs and a pair of black slip on sandals. I really didn't want to go back to Wood Creek Falls since last summer Shana and I almost drown because of Ashley and them. I pull into the park and drove down to a small parking lot and parked my car there. We all got out and walked down to a swimming hole near the parking lot. Half of the lake is blocked off by ropes the one we are at is the shallow end and across the ropes is a deep end with a rectangle dock in the middle of it. Behind that is more ropes blocking off the deeper part of the lake where all the boats are. We all walk down on the circle side walk that is built around the water and down to the end of the sidewalk that has a few steps built down into the water. We set up some foldable outdoor chairs and Kyle sits down the cooler full of beer behind the chairs. Kelly is infront of her red chair as she pulls off her tank top revealing her dark grey bathing suit top. Her tight six pack flexes as she stretches her back. I can't help but watch her cause she is so sexy it drives me crazy. She looks over at me and said " Like what you see?" with a wink. I smirk and pull off my black tank top and toss it at her she catches it then she grins looking at my body. I spot Kyle and Jason talking a few feet back well Jason is talking while Kyle checks me out. Soon Kyle is on the dock while Jason stands on the sidewalk a little ways down from Kelly, me and Jane. I have my blue chair in the middle of them Kelly is on my right side and Jane is on my left. Kelly has on her black pair of Ray Ban Wayfarer sunglasses I have on my pair as well. Jane's glasses are the same kind just not sunglasses. Kyle throws a football from the dock and Jason catches from the sidewalk. Kelly lights up a joint and hits it she passes it to me and I hit then hand it to Jane. Kelly whistles for Jason and Kyle to come over and smoke with us. Kyle dives off the dock and into the water he swims over to the steps and walks up to the sidewalk and down to us with Jason. Kyle picks up his towel off his chair beside Kelly's and dries off. Jason is hitting the joint as he dries off. He then hands it to Kyle and he hits it. He hands it to Kelly and She said to him " Grab me a beer babe". The cooler is too far back for us to reach back and open. Kyle walks around to the cooler and opens it handing Kelly a can of Coors Banquet. He said to us " Anyone else?" Jason said yes but Jane and I said no because we are driving. Kyle grabs two beers and walks around to Jason he hands him his beer and Kelly said to them " I dare you to shotgun your beers". They look at her and Jason said " You do it too". She smiles evilly and stands up. Jason reaches into a pool bag and pulls out a pocket knife he easily pokes a hole in the bottom of the can and some beer sprays out. Jason turns his head and places his mouth on the hole then slowly opens the tab and quickly drinks the beer. He turns it upside down showing them that it's empty. Kyle takes the knife and easily pokes a hole in the bottom and avoids the spray of beer. He turns his head to the side and slowly opens the tab drinking all the beer out of the can. Kelly pokes a hole in the bottom with the knife then turns her head to the side as she opens the tab slowly and drinks all the beer. Kelly looks at us and said " Now you two do one". I said " Kelly we have to drive back". She said " One ain't gonna hurt besides it will wear off by the time we leave here". Jane and I decide to do one. We are standing up with them. I take the knife and easily poke a hole in the bottom and beer sprays by my face. I turn my head and place my mouth on the hole and slowly open the tab and drink all the beer. Jane has the knife she takes it and easily pokes the hole in the bottom she turns her head and slowly opens the tab and drinks all the beer. We all cheer for her after she's done.
