And the story continues.

Alpheus had been stuck on the Aronnax for the last two days. Luckily for him no-one had seen him yet. The Nektons hadn't seem to notice the missing food. Well most of it atleast, Kaiko had noticed the missing cookies but had been quick to blame it on Ant. He'd managed to avoid most of the security cameras but Aria was able to disable them when necessary.

Despite hid luck so far he was still anxiously awaiting the Nektons next dock. He had to get off before the Nektons spotted him or who knows what would happen. He really didn't want to be arrested.

He managed to steal a couple extra blankets and pillows from storage and made himself a small bed in the vents. He spent most of his time there. He only left late at night or if most of the Nektons were out on a mission.

He was in the vents by the bridge listing in on one of the Nektons conversations when he discovered, much to his horror that the Nektons would not be docking again for months. They had been asked by the woa to help in research for various projects and would be getting supplie drops via drones. Alpheus released that he was gonna have to find a way off the Aronnax and soon.

He spent most of the day brain storming ideas. By the end of the day he was no closer to escaping. He decided that he'd better take a break and get some food and coffee. He figured the Nektons had gone to bed hours ago and made his way to the kitchen. Unfortunately for Alpheus, Ant had also decided he needed a midnight snack.

Ant was half way to the kitchen when he saw a large blue blur run around the corner. Ant still being half asleep immediately yelled into his comm.

"GUYS!! THERES A GIANT BLUE RACCOON!! HE MUST BE HERE TO STEAL OUR FOOD!!"

Ant was awake enough to know that he should probably chase after the 'raccoon'. He however was not awake enough to see his shoe in the hallway and promptly tripped over it.

It wasn't long before his parents found him. He was frantically looking for the raccoon. His parents told him he was probably sleep walking and imagined the whole thing but Ant was convinced it was real.

Meanwhile Alpheus was trying to calm down. He hadn't realised Ant was up and now he was convinced the the Nektons were all looking for him. When Aria informed him that the Nektons had all returned to their rooms he'd never felt more relief. He didn't try to leave the vents again that night.

The next morning Ant told Fontaine about what happened. She agreed with her parents. There was no way he'd seen a raccoon that big and while she had never seen a real life raccoon she was fairlycertainthey weren't blue. She's started thinking about it a little bit more as the day went on. She had her own theory on what happened last night. She decided the only way to prove her theory was to wait in the kitchen for the 'raccoon' to show up.

It was ten minutes past midnight when she heard footsteps making there way towards the kitchen. It wasn't long before the 'raccoon' walked in.

"Hello Alpheus long time no see."

Poor Alpheus he just wanted a cup of coffee, he didn't need to be harassed by the Nekton children.
