The chaos child and his tired older brother return.

Ant hated being grounded. There was nothing to do. Well nothing to do but annoy Alpheus. Alpheus regretted teaching Ant his dramatic ways. It was fun when the Guardians had to deal with it not so much when it was his turn.

"Ant get off the floor."

"Oh woe is me!! For I am grounded, I may never leave the floor."

"Ant I'm going to throw you out the air lock I swear."

"You may not, for I am bound the the floor for all eternity."

Alpheus sighed pouring another cup of coffee and leaving the kitchen. Ant smiled and waited a few minutes before finding another more annoying place to lay down. He decided the best spot was right outside his study.

After three hours of waiting Ant fell asleep. Unfortunately that meant he was not able to stop his brother from tripping over him. Neither brother was amused by this.

"WHAT THE HELL ALPHEUS?!!"

"Language Ant. And I could ask you the same thing."

"I. Am serving out my sentence. Three long years-"

"Days."

"Three long years, stuck bounded to the earth-"

"We're in a metal submarine."

"It was an unjust imprisonment."

"You snuck out, didn't tell anyone and got kidnapped."

"Still unjust."

Alpheus sighed and climbed off the floor.

"Well then, I shall leave you to it."

Alpheus once again walked away leaving Ant to his sulking. Ant once again waited for Alpheus' footsteps to fade away before he made his way to a new annoying spot. When he rounded the corner he found an unimpressed looking Alpheus.

"Wow. And I thought you couldn't leave the floor."

Ant immediately flopped to the floor.

"Oh woe is me!! Permanently bound to the floor-"

"Get up idiot. It's to early for dramatic tenancies."

"You're the one that taught me how to do this."

"To piss off the Guardians not me."

"Oh woe is you!! Forever-"

Alpheus shook his head and left. Ant continued his dramatic speech until he was well out of ear shot. Ant giggled to himself before pulling himself off the floor.

A few hours later the brother was eating dinner. On the floor of course. Alpheus had just started ignoring him. He knew Ant would eventually give up. He never had the patience for the long game. Not like Alpheus did anyway. Ant was less than half way through his meal when he let out a dramatic sigh pulled himself and his food off the floor and plopped himself down at the table.

"Ant? Oh my god!! You're free!!"

"Shut up."

Ant huffed. Alpheus smiled and got up to wash his plate.

"Am I still grounded?"

"Oh yeah definitely."

"Oh come on!"

"Don't make me take your comic books away."

"What!! No!! I'll do anything!!"

"Save the drama for the Nektons."

"Deal!!"

Poor Alpheus is so done shouldn't have shown Ant how to annoy people he became to good at it.
