Maddy was having a great day, they'd finally struck gold, literally. A whole treasure chest full of gold. It felt good to finally win. They were finishing up when the Arronax showed up. Maddy smiled, Finn let out a long suffering sigh.
The whole family came out. Determined to get whatever the pirates had stolen. Maddy smiled to herself before turning to brother.
“I’ll take Ant you take Fontaine?”
“Gladly, try not to get into another sabbatour fight, the dark orca barely survived the last one.”
Maddy dove towards the treasure. Grabbing a single necklace off the ground.
“Hey Nekton~~~ look what I’ve got~~”
“That's not yours Maddy, give it back.”
“Come and take it coward!”
Ant rushed forward without thinking, Maddy smiled. At the last moment she dived to the side and darted back so she was holding onto the back of Ants Knight.
“Hey! Get off me!!!”
“Awww can the little Nekton not reach his back, seems like a pretty significant design flaw, I would hate to be the guy who designed this.”
Maddy teased. Ant scowled before he started spinning in small quick circles. As soon as she fell off he stopped and turned to laugh.
“Not so flawed now huh?”
Ant laughed. Maddy smiled and held up one of the shadow knights power cell.
“What?!”
“Danny boy NOW!!”
Ten minutes later Ant was stuffed in a storage closet with his mother and father pacing.
“Ant, sit down, you're making me restless just looking at you.”
“HOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THE NET LAUNCHER ACTUALLY WORKED!!”
William sighed, looking up at the ceiling.
The door eventually opened and Fontaine was shoved inside. Maddy cackled and locked the door behind her.
“Ant, don't freak out.”
“Where's my son?”
“I don’t know, he wasn’t in his room.”
“So he could be anywhere in the ocean!?!”
Ant turned to the door and began pounding on it.
“HEY!! YOU GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW AND TELL ME WHERE MY SON IS!!!”
Meanwhile Maddy was exploring the Arronax, grabbing anything that looked slightly valuable. When a loud creaking came from the ceiling above her, she jumped out of the way just as a ceiling panel gave way and a small boy fell to the ground.
“What the f*ck!?”
“Owwwww.”
The kid shook his head before jumping to his feet.
“Who are you and what are you doing here?!”
The kid yelled glaring at her.
“...who… who’s kid is this!? Finn! Finn! Call your girlfriend now!!”
“Maddy what is it now…. Why is there a toddler here?”
“I’m not a toddler, I'm twelve!! And I could ask you what you're doing here, you no good pirates!!”
“Litteral toddler talk.”
“Oh my god is that what we were like at that age?.. Never mind back on track, whose child are you, where are your parents?”
