Alpheus day started out pretty normal. He had planned and encounter with the Nektons and everything had been going smoothly. That was until he accidentally walked into the wrong room. He ended up in what looked to be a nursery. He was just about to turn around when he heard crying.

He walked over to the crib to see a tiny little baby. He immediately started panicking. He did not sign up to be a toddlers nemesis. He knew he had to stop the kid from crying before the Nektons showed up.

"Shh, you're ok. Please stop crying."

The kid only started crying louder.

"Nonono, Shh please your mum is gonna kill me. Sssshh."

After a few seconds the kid stopped crying and Alpheus let out a sigh of relife. The kid was now just staring at him.

"Why are you looking at me like that."

The kid let out a string of coos.

"Stop staring at me."

The kid cooed again.

"Ok, how am I supposed to be your nemesis you're tiny. And u can't kidnap a literal baby. Only a monster would do that."

Alpheus sat down beside the crib.

"Seriously this is ridiculous, it's like the universe just loves screwing me over."

The kid cooed.

"Oh I bet Nereus is gonna have a laugh when he hears about this."

The kid let out a little squeal. Alpheus turned around to look at them.

"Aand I'm ranting to an infant, this is weird. I'm leaving."

As soon as the words left his mouth the kid started crying again.

"Nono, please don't cry."

"WWWAAA."

"Come on please, ssshhhh."

"WWWWAAAAAAAA!!"

"Sssh it's ok, shhh."

Alpheus eventually just reached down into the crib and picked the baby up. He kinda just stood awkwardly in the middle with the room. He wasn't really sure what to do with with kid and was honestly very nervous about making it worse. Fortunately they calmed down very quickly. Alpheus let out a sigh of relief and gentle placed them back before quietly making his way out of the room.

He probably should have expected Kaiko to be waiting there for him.

"Aah! Oh hello Kaiko."

"Hello Alpheus."

"Uuhhh, please dontkillmeisweariwasntuptoanything."

"Yeah I heard."

"Uuh you did?"

Kaiko held up a baby monitor.

"Oh.... so I'm gonna gooo."

"No. Sorry but you're not going anywhere."

Five minutes later Alpheus was locked in a storage closet. The Nektons were on the bridge deciding what to do with him.

"We should hand him over to the woa then he's there problem."

"I know, but at the same time do you really thing the woa is competent enough to stop him from escaping?"

"Ok, true but we can't keep him here, what if he tries to hurt chloe."

"Well, I mean. He didn't try anything earlier. If anything I'd say he was more scared of her than she was of him."

Fontaine rolled her eyes.

"Oh great. Let's just trust the psycho with our little sister."

Kaiko sighed. She was holding chloe in her arms. She was starting to fuss.

"I'd better put chloe back to bed. We can talk about this in the morning."

They all agreed and went to their rooms. Kaiko ended up sleeping in Sophie's just incase.

Chloe: *exists*
Alpheus: *terrified screaming*
