Maddy's having a bad day, enjoy!

Maddy was woken up at three am to her father yelling. He was saying something about a treasure and beating the Nektons to it but Maddy didn't really care about the treasure. What she did care about was Finn and Finn would probably be diving with the rest of the crew in hopes of finding the treasure.

She stood up and started making her way Alana's room. She hoped she could convince her to go in Finns place. When she got to Alana's room she knocked on the door, but there was no response. Maddy figured she was sleeping and went inside. Alana wasn't in her bed.

"Alana!?"

"I'm in the bath!"

"It's three am."

"Yea and I just finished fixing the engines. I need this."

Maddy shook her head and walked over to the door.

"Fine whatever. Dad's talking about a treasure hunt is there anyway I can convince you to dive and let Finn and me in the red claw?"

"I'll go it if you make breakfast for a week."

"Deal."

Maddy walked out and headed towards Finns room.

When she got there she knocked on the door and waited.

"Who's there?"

"It's me Finn."

"Oh come in."

Maddy walked in and found Finn sat on his bed. He was stretching out his wings, keeping them binded for hours on end really wasn't good for them.

"Is dad going after another treasurer?"

"Yea, Alana agreed to swap places with you, she'll go swimming and you go in the red claw."

"Great."

That's when their fathers voice came out of their comms.

"Everyone to the moon pool we've got a treasure to hunt!"

Finn and Maddy groaned and started walking to the moon pool.

Three hours later they were walking to their rooms, covered in oil and treasure less. Maddy was not happy.

She got to her room slammed the door and started yelling. In the middle of her rant she tripped. When she went to stand up again she found it hard to stand on two feet. She looked over at the mirror and saw a fox staring back at her. She screamed.

A few seconds later Alana and Finn ran in.

"Maddy!?"

Maddy yelped and ran towards them.

"... Maddy?"

"Oh my god she's adorable!"

Alana picked Maddy up. Maddy glared at her as she did so.

"Hey at least I'm not the only mystical creature on the dark orca."

".... wait did I forget to tell you?"

"Tell me what?"

"I'll tell you tomorrow, I need some sleep and you two need a shower."

Alana set Maddy down on the floor then walked to her room. Finn wasn't satisfied he didn't want to wait until tomorrow. He and Maddy snuck into her room when they were sure she was asleep.

The spent a good hour looking through her room but they couldn't find anything that was until the looked in her bathroom.

"Why does she need a freezer full of ice in her bathroom?"

Maddy shrugged, she was still a fox and couldn't figure out how to turn back.

"It doesn't make sense."

Maddy was sniffing around the floor when she found a dark green scale. She picked it up and handed it to Finn.

"A scale? It looks like a fish scale but it's far too big."

Maddy once again shrugged. Finn sighed.

"You're no help."

The pair froze when they heard Alana's alarm go off.

Maddy's a fox she's never gonna hear the end of it. And you'll find out what Alana is in the next chapter.
