Alpheus was having a bad couple of days. First Fontaine had made him wear that stupid mask to scare her stupid brother and then he'd had to leave his food behind after Ant walked into the kitchen. Now, he was stuck in a trap Ant set for him. It wasn't hard to get out of it was one of those ones that hung him upside down but he was still pissed he'd gotten caught.

When he got down his ankle was killing him. He could barley walk on it anymore. He was not willing to risk sneaking around to find medical supplies so close to when the Nektons would be waking up so he went back to Fontaine's hiding spot.

When he finally looked at his ankle he knew it was dislocated. Setting it was going to be a bitch and he'd have to steal a splint. After he set it he raised he foot on a pillow and tried to get to sleep. It wasn't helping and he couldn't sleep.

Eventually Fontaine showed up.

" Hey what's got some sna- Wow. You look awful."

"Yeah thanks for noticing."

"What happened?"

"I got caught in one of Ant's traps and dislocated my ankle."

"And you're just sitting here."

"Not much else I can do. I'll just wait for everyone to head to sleep and then go steal a splint or something."

"You shouldn't walk on a dislocated ankle."

"I reset it."

"That doesn't matter. Stay here I'll be back."

"Where else am I supposed to go."

Twenty minutes later Fontaine came back with a splint, some pain killers, food and water.

"Here, can you splint it on your own or do you need help."

"I can do it on my own. Thanks."

It only took five minutes to get the splint on but it was going to take a while before the pain killers kicked in.

"Is there anything I can do to help."

"No I'm fine. Please leave I'm going to try and get some sleep."

"Ok I'll bring you some food before I go to bed."

Later that day Kaiko was going through all her medical supplies. Checking to make sure everything was in its place and nothing was broken out of date or misplaced. That's when she noticed a bottle of pain killers and an ankle splint were missing.

She asked her family but everyone said they didn't take anything. Kaiko immediately put the Aronnax into lock down and started looking everywhere for the probably injured intruder. Alpheus the definitely injured intruder was woke up by the alarm. He had to wait five minutes before Fontaine finally showed up to tell him what was going on.

"So mum notice the splint was missing and is now tearing the Aronnax apart looking for an injured intruder."

"Well I'm screwed."

"She doesn't know its you she thinks it some poor guy who was trying to hitch a ride the got stuck on out months long mission."

"She's not wrong."

"Well she's not going to stop until she's found the intruder."

"Right ok. Help me to the moonpool room."

"What? why would I do that?"

"I'm gonna steal the rover."

"Seriously Alpheus. Stealing from us again?"

"It's either that or explain to your mum why I'm here and how I hid for so long."

".......... we still have to wait until the lock downs done."

"You think I can't bypass your security system."

"That part my be true. But everyone is still going to be on high alert."

Alpheus hummed in response. After a few seconds he sat up.

"How long do you think it's going to last?"

"Hard to say. Maybe a few days."

"Days?!"

Kaiko: this poor innocent stowaway is injured we need to find them right away.
Alpheus: f*ck off I don't need your help.

Alpheus has only made it about a week on the Aronnax and has already been caught by one nekton. Now that all the Nektons are looking for him and he's injured how long do you guys think he'll last? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
