Here we go again tw burns

It was late at night when the hunters pulled into port. Alpheus stuck close to Dagur and Heather as they departed from the ship. Home base always made him anxious, he was never completely sure why, maybe it was the constant noise from the dragons, the men yelling at eachother or maybe... maybe it was Viggo. The man always unnerved him, something about the way he walked and talked. It reminded him of people he used to know.

Viggo's tent was in the very center of the island. It was the biggest tent, it walls made from the rarest dragons. Easy to spot when you knew what you were looking for. The inside was decorated with bookcases full of scolls. Dragon skulls decorated various knooks and crannies. Aria curled closer to Alpheus as Viggo began speaking.

Heather studied Viggo as he walked around the room. Confident in every step, in every word. Like he'd rehearsed it all before they got here. Dagur had that insane smile plastered on his face, but it didn't quite reach his eyes, an act then, his own intimidation attempt. Heather wasn't sure if it was working or not, Viggo didn't seem to falter as he finished his speech, telling his brother to leave him and his guests.

Alpheus huffed as he was asked to leave as well. 'The adults need to talk' Viggo said as he all but pushed the him out of the tent. He paced back and forth outside the tent ranting to Aria about the injustice. He was 13 for thor's sake he wasn't a little kid anymore.

It wasn't long before Dagur stormed out yelling, Heather following hurriedly behind him.

"Who does he think he is huh!? Talking to us like that?!"

"And that whole 'ThAnK yOu FoR eNtErTaInInG mY aPpReNtIcE' like he isn't our little brother!!!"

"Ohoh what I wouldn't give to squeeze the life outta-"

"What are you two talking about?"

Alpheus interrupted looking unimpressed. Dagur smiled and made his way over.

"Nothing for you to worry about brother."

Alpheus scowled but allowed Dagur to ruffle his hair regardless.

"I gotta say I am starving, know any good places to eat around here?"

Heather piped up.

Alpheus nodded and pushed himself up off the ground.

The boy ended up leading them to a small market on the far side of the island. It wasn't as busy as the northern market bit there was still a brave crowd, Alpheus walked just a little closer to his siblings, while the Guardians had never tried anything while he was on Viggo's island they'd been getting braver and Alpheus couldn't say for certain he was safe here.

The honey cakes were just as good as he remembered. Sweet and sticky with a small coating of sugar. Alpheus couldn't get enough of them. Neither could Heather as it seemed. She too was stuffing her face full. Dagur was beside them smiling like an idiot.

Eventually the lady running the stall chased them off. The trio grumbled but didn't argue, instead the siblings made their way to the tent Viggo's men had set up for them. They had only set up two beds, setting Dagur off on another angry rant. Heather, windshear and Aria looked on unamused, meanwhile Alpheus got and idea. While distracted Alpheus stole Dagur's bed, he sat smugly under the covers as Dagur finally realised what was happening.

"Oooo~ you little sh*t."

Alpheus laughed and pulled the covers over his head as Dagur walked towards him.

"Stealing my bed huh?"

Alpheus laughed louder. Heather let out her own small laugh.

"It's not your bed anymore!!"
