The Deep Oneshots Part 2

Roommates au

Quick recap, in the last chapter Fontaine's parents had just shown up. Enjoy!!

"Heyyyy mum, dad, what are you doing here?"

"We just came over to say hello and see how you and Jess are settling in."

"Where is Jess."

As soon as the words left his mouth no other than Jess walked down the stairs holding a few kittens.

"So Fontaine I was thinking- oh hey Will, Kaiko."

Jess smiled nervously.

"Hello Jess, we were just popping by to say hello, can we come in?"

"No! Sorry, the house is a mess."

"That's ok, we don't mind."

Fontaine glanced over to the sofa, she saw Alpheus, Finn and Maddy all making there way into the dinning room. They were probably going out the back door. Alana on the other hand was still sat on the sofa.

"You know what, fine come in."

Fontaine stood out of the way and let her parents walk inside.

"I don't know what you were talking about, the place isn't that mess- ..... what's Alana doing here."

Fontaine and Jess looked at eachother and chucked nervously.

"I broke in, they had coffee."

".... you broke in?"

"It wasn't hard. They forgot to lock the door."

"I'm pretty sure I didn't."

"I'm pretty sure you did."

Alana sipped on her coffee. Kaiko sighed. They all jumped when a loud crash came from the dinning room.

"....... I may have brought some friends with me."

"WHAT!?!"

Kaiko stormed into the dinning room only to find Maddy holding several cookies and a broken jar on the floor.

"... I may have broke the cookie jar."

"What are you doing here?!"

"Door was open and the cookie jar was just sitting here."

"Ok, Ok. Has anyone else broken in?!"

"No I don't think so."

Kaiko sighed.

"Alright, get out."

"What?!"

"Get out before I call the cops."

Alana had to practically drag Maddy out. She was insisting that if Fontaine and Jess had left the door open then they were idiots who deserved to have their coffee and cookies stolen.

"You know, I'm surprised Finn isn't here."

Suddenly one of the ceiling tiles gave way and Finn fell threw.

"Oh my god Will! You just had to jinx it!!"

Finn smiled awkwardly and waved.

"Let me guess, the door was open?"

"No actually, but the window was!"

Kaiko glared at him. Finn laughed nervously and ran out. Kaiko shook her head and left the kitchen.

"Well other than the 'guests' the house is lovely."

"Yeah, it's really close to the school."

"And coffee shops."

The two smiled and tried lead Fontaine's parents to the sofa. But they seemed to have other ideas, they wanted to see the garden. They were really hoping that Alphues had chosen a better hiding pace than the rest of their friends.

The person in question was currently at the top of the oak tree in the back yard. It was an old and tall tree, so tall in fact that if he pulled a couple of leaves back, he could see the front of the house. He was quietly waiting for the Nektons to leave. When he saw the Nektons walk out he wished he could disappear.

Alpheus started looking for a way out of this mess when he saw movement in the corner of his eye. Alana Finn and Maddy were hiding in the bushes. No doubt waiting for the perfect time to sneak back inside.

Alpheus wished he'd brought some snacks with him. This was bound to be entertaining.

Finn just wanted to hide from the Nektons he did not mean to break Alpheus' ceiling. He's gonna get one hell of a lecture.
