The Deep Oneshots Part 2

Hammerhead had taken his crew to an island of the coast of Ireland. Inside there was a labyrinth of tunnels. Hammerhead had heard that there was an old treasure somewhere on that island, many pirates had searched for the treasurer but non of them had ever found it, Hammerhead wanted to be the first.

Finn and Maddy were sent down and old falling apart tunnel. They didn't like it very much but had no choice but to go down. They waited near the entrance, Alana was sneaking out of the dark orca to meet them. When she got there the three continued down the tunnel. They weren’t very interested in the treasure but it was nice to get way from hammerhead and his yelling for a while.

"What should we do if we find the treasurer? Keep it or tell Hammerhead?"

"Keep it, if Hammerhead wants it he should look for it himself."

"Here, here!"

They hadn't been walking for long when Maddy spotted something. A harp carved into the wall and underneath there was some writing

"Ca mela fatcha?"

"céad míle fáilte."

"What?"

"Irish saying, it means a hundred thousand welcomes."

"... what's it doing here?"

"No idea, but it's the wrong way around."

Alana ran her hand along the carving and accidentally pushed it into the wall. Suddenly the walls gave way and a tunnel opened up.

"... so follow the creepy old tunnel or go back to the dark orca?"

"Aww come on Finn! Where's your sense of adventure?"

"Back on the dark orca, I'll go get it."

Alana grabbed Finn by the back of his shirt and dragged him into the tunnel. Maddy laughed and followed. Soon the tunnel opened up into a chamber, there was a strange glowing crystal in the middle of the room, it was glowing three different colours, green orange and purple.

"Cool glowing stone, might be radioactive might be magic.... I'm gonna touch it!"

"No!"

But it was too late Maddy had already grabbed the crystal. As soon as she touched it the crystal shattered into three pieces. It wasn't long before balls of different coloured lights flew out of the shards and towards them.

"AHHHH!!!"

The trio tried dodging the lights but they were too fast, the purple one hit Maddy, the orange one hit Alana and the green one hit Finn. At first nothing happened, the trio thought it must have just been a trick of the light and began to make their way back to the dark orca. They told hammerhead that they hadn't found anything and headed to the kitchen so they could get something to eat.

"So we have pickled eggs... more pickled eggs aaaannnd more pickled eggs. Why can't we buy normal things!!"

At that moment the jar she was holding burst into flames and she immediately dropped it.

"...what was that?!"

Finn jumped up from the table and walked over to her.

"I-I don't know... it think I'm gonna lie down for a while."

"What about dinner?"

"I'm not hungry."

Alana left the kitchen looking tired and confused. Finn started cleaning up the shattered glass and then dumped it into the bin. Then looked over to his sister.

"So do you think this had to with the glowing crystal?"

"I don't know but I have a bad feeling about this."

The pirates have powers how long can they go without Hammerhead finding out?
