The Deep Oneshots Part 2

Ant Benthos au

mha_stories12 wanted to see Ant be kidnapped by the Nektons so here we go.

It was a normal day on Aria. Ant had snuck out in his Knight to go check out a Lumurian ruin near by. He had been there before but it was always fun to swim around for a few hours. He'd left his Knight as soon as he got there and was swimming around looking at some of the coral growing on the ruins. Every time they went there the ruins were more and more covered in coral and sea weed. Pretty soon it would be practically invisible.

Ant was on the other side of the ruins when a shadow covered him. Figuring Alpheus had finally figured out where he was and caught up to him he didn't even bother to look up. He regretted it a few seconds later when Kaiko Nektons appeared beside him in the white Knight.

"Uuuuh, Gotta go!"

Ant attempted to swim back to his Knight only for Kaiko to grab his foot.

"Oh no you don't. You're coming with me."

"That's kidnapping!"

"Tell that to your brother."

Ant rolled his eyes and sighed. He knew there was no way he was getting out of this. Alpheus was far out of comms range he regretted not telling Alpheus where he was going.

A few minutes later he was sitting on the bridge. The Nektons were asking him a lot of questions.

"Where's your brother!?"

"What's he planning is he going to attack us?!"

Ant wasn't really paying much attention. He was bored, he wondered how easy it would be to escape. They hadn't tied him up or locked the door he could easily run away. So he tried it.

It didn't work. The Nektons locked down the Aronnax and now they had him cornered in the cargo bay. There were a couple of boxes in there and Ant had managed to climb up onto one but the Nektons had surrounded him.

"Come down before you hurt yourself!!"

"NO!!"

"We have cookies?"

Meanwhile Alpheus was taking a break from his latest project. He was going to see how Ant was but couldn't find him.

"Aria locate Ant for me."

"Ant is on the Aronnax."

"... I'm sorry what?!"

"Antaeus is on the Aronnax."

Alpheus sighed.

"Aria plot a course to the Aronnax."

Alpheus sat down in his pilots chair and started thinking of ways to get his brother out without getting caught.

The promise of cookies had successfully gotten Ant down from the box. This time the Nektons locked him I a bed room. It was pretty nice. A little smaller that the one on Aria but still nice.

He flopped down onto the bed and pretty soon Kaiko came back to ask him more questions.

"Where is Alpheus?"

"Mmmmh, he's in England.... no Ireland! Or was it Canada. You know I have such a hard time remembering things!"

Kaiko took a deep breath and continued.

"Why is he looking for Lumuria."

"Cause he thinks he'd look good in ancient Lumurian clothing!"

Kaiko sighed and shook her head.

"What do you know about the Ephemycron?"

"The Ephema- what now?"

"Ephemycron. You know, its the thing Lumurians used to find home."

"Ooooh, so that's what we should be looking for! Thanks for the tip you're a real life saver!"

"That's not what I! Oh forget it."

Kaiko gave up and walked out of the room. As soon as she did Ant went over to the vent. It was in the top corner of his room. He'd have to find something to stand on to get up to it. Unfortunately the Nektons had taken the desk chair out of the room. The did however leave the desk itself.

Ant: *trying to escape*
Nektons: we have cookies!
Ant: COOKIES!!
