Finn was half asleep when he heard his door open.
"Alana? Maddy? What do you want."
They didn't say anything.
"Hello?"
"Hello Finn."
Finn practically jumped out of his skin.
"Kaiko!? What are you doing here?!"
"Oh, nothing much. Say would you like to come for tea?"
"Tea!? What are you talking ab-"
Kaiko grabbed his arm and dragged him out of bed.
"Ow hey!!"
"Come on, let's go."
"Where are you taking me you crazy lady!!"
Eventually Kaiko managed to drag Finn to the moon pool room. The rover was parked there. Kaiko dragged him into it.
"Wait here I'll be back soon."
Finn tried to climb out but the roof closed and he and no choice but to sit back down.
A few minutes later Kaiko walk in with Maddy slung over her shoulder. Maddy was yelling profanities and kicking Kaiko as hard as she could. Kaiko didn't seem bothered she opened the rover's canopy and set Maddy inside.
"What's going on he-"
Alana paused mid sentence as she looked around.
"HEEEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!"
Alana look at Kaiko then to Finn, then back at Kaiko. She very slowly closed the door.
"TRAITOR!!!"
Maddy yelled as Kaiko's dropped her into the rover.
"Come on let's go."
Kaiko closed the roof and drove out of the moon pool. Maddy proceed to kick her seat for the entire ride while Finn tried to go back to sleep.
When they finally got back t the Aronnax Maddy was half asleep and Finn was snoring. Maddy kicked the back of Finn's seat.
"Stop snoring idiot."
"Huh? Wha- I don't snore!"
"You do."
Kaiko sighed and shook her head.
"Come on you two, let's get some tea."
"We're not having tea with you Nekton."
"I wouldn't mind a cup of tea."
"Shut up Finn."
"Shh both of you. Let's go."
Kaiko dragged the two out of the rover and into the kitchen. Finn was surprised when he saw to other kids sitting there.
"Umm Mrs Nekton who are they?"
"This is Finn and Maddy, Finn, Maddy this is Jess and Griffin. They're joining us for tea and cookies."
"Did she kidnapped you too?"
"No, but I wouldn't be surprised if she had."
Finn raised an eyebrow. Maddy just shrugged.
"I'm gonna go get Ant and Fontaine. I'll be right back."
Kaiko left and Finn sat down at the table.
"Here."
Jess pushed the cookie jar towards Finn. He reached in and grabbed two cookies out. He handed one to Maddy who finally decided to sit down.
"How long before you think she'll let us out of here?"
"I don't know, me and Griffin are staying over for a sleep over."
"Yeah, Ant wanted to do a Kaiju movie marathon!"
Speaking of Ant he walked in followed shortly after by Fontaine. Kaiko was right behind them.
"Right, I'll put the kettle on."
Kaiko walked over to the kettle and turned it on. She grabbed several cups out of the cabinet. While she was doing so she heard Finn and Maddy discussing escape plans.
"We could steal the rover."
"Remember the last time we stole the rover."
Both of them shivered.
"Right. Never again. Maybe we take the Knights?"
"I can hear you y'know."
Kaiko said as she sat a cup of tea down in front of each of them. Finn and Maddy shut up pretty quickly. Finn took a few sips of tea and hummed.
"This is actually pretty nice. But you could have texted us."
"Yeah, I don't appreciate being dragged of bed in the middle of the night."
"Well I don't think we have to worry about that anymore."
"What are you talking about?"
"..."
"We're leaving after this."
"...."
"Right?"
Kaiko just smiled and slipped on her tea.
Finn and Maddy want to leave but Kaiko said no.
