Part 163 - Wedding (part 2)

"Come on, one sip Flo." Damien, Ellie and Dom were currently in my room. Damien and Ellie both urging me to take this shot of tequila...

Dom was sitting silently nearby, looking between us all, unsure or whether or not he should say something.

The ceremony was soon, and I was passing time and my nerves by chatting with them all. Rhea was here, but she went to the bathroom to finally get dressed, hence Damien and Ellie trying to get me to take a shot while she's gone.

"For the nerves." Ellie said.

"Rhea had one earlier." Damien added and I felt like that was a lie. I didn't smell in on her breath or anything.

I tilted my head at him. "Not happening." I said. "Nerves are good." I breathed heavily.

Dom got up and came to wrap his arm around me. I didn't tell him I was pregnant, but he knew as soon as he came in here earlier, and Rhea had me in the deepest hug in the centre of the room. "Leave her alone you drunks." Dom insulted and turned me away to come and sit on the couch. And he smiled at me, like he was excited.

"Yes?" I asked him, smiling.

He just raised his eyebrows, and I could see he wanted confirmation.

"Yeah." I whispered and Dom grinned. He started tapping his feet and pumping his fists. He softly pulled me into a large hug, squeezing around my back. I hugged him back, giggling because he was so sweet.

"What's going on?" Damien asked.

Dom pulled back but kept an arm around my shoulder.

Ellie looked at us too. "I feel like there's something you're hiding." She glanced to Dom and back to me.

Damien squinted at me, and I feel like he figured it out pretty quickly, because he looked at the shot in his hand. "Take a shot, Flo." He said softly, handing it to me.

"No." I replied. Damnit, he knew.

Damien smiled, and I think Ellie was catching on too.

Rhea then came out of the bathroom, and she looked...

Her black dress hugged her body all the right ways... shimmering a little in the moonlight from the window. My god, she was so beautiful.

"Rhea! You're beautiful." Ellie complimented.

Damien started too. "Sis, you're gorgeous-"

Rhea came over and grabbed the shot out of Damien's hand. "What are you doing?" She snapped at him. "She's not drinking." And she took the shot herself, swallowing it down.

"And why not?" Damien asked, raising a brow.

Rhea looked at me. "Get your arm off her." She told Dom. And yeah... the protectiveness was 10 times more... Everyone could see that. And it was literally day 1.

Ellie's mouth opened in surprise.

I made eye contact with Rhea and she widened her eyes. I shrugged and spoke up. "I'm pregnant."

Damien beamed at the confirmation and ran to Rhea first, picking her up in hug she definitely didn't enjoy. But she smiled.

Ellie came to me and I stood up, meeting her in a hug. "I'm so happy for you guys." She said.

Damien pulled back to look at Rhea. "What the fuck! You're gonna be a mother." He scoffed. "What in the world has happened to you." He joked. Making Rhea roll her eyes.

Rhea came over and she grabbed my hand. "You look so pretty." I whispered.

"You're prettier." She said back.
