Normal P.O.V

“Fine... I'm ready.” Gems mumbled while holding back tears. “I'll give you my magic in return of my parents.” he added.

Gems had no choice but to choose his parent's safety.

“Count me in.” Gems mumbled, he was more than ready to go out and show everyone how much he had improved and who they've been sleeping on. Gems had a determined look on his face and he didn't back down even when he got intimidated due to Seth's sinister smile.

His heart was racing and he still didn't know whether he was doing right or wrong by shaking hands with Seth, because all he cared about right now was his parents.

“The route is simple, leave Fairy Tail and join my guild.” Seth said like it meant nothing to Gems. “You can leave that guild by tomorrow itself and enroll in mine. I'll get you even more stronger in my lab.” he added.

Gems frowned, it looked like he was still hesitating. “I- I- I can't leave Fairy Tail just like that... I can't forget the things... the things they did for me, especially Gray. I can't leave him. I won't leave Gray!” Gems immediately brought it up.

Seth just rolled his eyes.

“I'm not asking you to leave Gray, not technically, but just for a while, jump ships. Do your thing, get your parents and come back to Fairy Tail.” Seth just shrugged.

“Leave them just like that, and then showing up with your guild emblem against them, Seth, that's betrayal! And I will not betray them! I can't!” Gems added. Seth just sighed.

“I knew you'd say something like this.” Seth said and Gems looked at him in a confused way. “And that's why I already have plan B prepared.” he added as he put his hands in his pocket.

“What's plan B?” Gems asked.

“Die.”

“What!?”

“Yeah.”

“W-What do y-you mean by t-that?” Gems asked. He was taken aback by that.

“Not technically, but yeah. You'll have to die. That's the only way you can ‘leave’ your guild without betraying them.” Seth said as he was holding back his laughter.

“The hell? I don't get it.”

“What I'm saying is, you will fake your death, and join my guild. Short and sweet.” Seth explained and Gems's eyes widened. Gems was about to say something but Seth stopped him. “Uh-uh! Before you say something, let me remind you that its the only way to get your parents back safely!” Seth spoke and Gems immediately closed his mouth.

‘This is tough!’ Gems thought as he closed his eyes and images of his mom and dad flashed in his head and he immediately opened his eyes, just for reality to hit him that he was standing right in front of Seth. ‘What should I do!?’ he thought.

A tear slipped his eye as he was slowly getting ready for the obvious.

Gems took a deep breathe and wiped his tear away.

Gems swallowed a lump in his throat and looked at Seth. “Yeah, I'm ready to do whatever it takes.” Gems said with watery eyes. He was holding back tears. “If it means that I get my parents back, these powers mean nothing to me.” he added as he looked at his palm and a tiny tornado formed.

“Glad to hear that, you'll be treated better in my guild. That's something I can guarantee and-”

“Cut the crap, and tell me what to do.” Gems spoke as he looked down, his bangs covering his eyes as he was shedding tears, while clenching his fists in anger.
