123: Gems, An S-Class Wizard

Normal P.O.V

“Arrghhhh! Stop! Stop this!” Gems screamed at the top of his lungs, eyes watered and dry heaving. Gems was feeling the pain of a million needles being pierced into his body at the same time.

Seth had a sick smile plasted on his face as he watched from the outside.

Gems was tied up with various equipments attached to his body, which were used on him in Seth's lab, which was hidden in the basement of the Everlasting Fang's guild hall.

A few days had passed since Gems's ‘funeral’ and all this time, Seth had been experimenting on Gems. Just like how he experimented on Gems's parents.

“Once this becomes a success, I'll be immortal.” Seth smirked as malice took over him. He pressed some buttons and increased the setting, Gems's screams were getting louder and louder.

Gems looked to his side and saw his parents in the same condition.

He screamed for Seth to stop, but it kept on increasing. The pain was overwhelming. Gems could feel excruciating pain in every single fiber of his body. His throat was paining from the constant shouting and eventually the screams lowered down to null, as Gems passed out.

Gems was unconscious while Seth continued the process.

Gems's eye shot open and he immediately got up. He looked around confused. “Where am I?” Gems mumbled as he saw himself on a bed, he pushed the covers away and touched his neck, his fingers gliding over the bite mark.

“Gray...” Gems mumbled. “Gray...”

“Gray ain't here!” Gems flinched a bit when he heard a firm voice. His head turned around the direction that voice came from. It was Seth. “You are in my territory, not Gray's.” Seth added.

Gems scooted backwards while being on bed, while swallowing a lump in his throat.

“Good to see you're finally awake after four days.” Seth mumbled as he came closer and stood right in front of Gems. Gems head was paining while trying to remember.

He closed his eyes and grabbed his head. His eyes had started to water as the memories were starting to get back. Seth blowing up the tunnel, him attending his own funeral, Gray crying, Seth torturing him. He remembered everything now.

“Where am I?! Huh?!” Gems spoke as he immediately got out of bed and stood infront of Seth. “Where the hell are my parents!? And what was that laboratory!?” Gens yelled at Seth.

Seth just rolled his eyes and step away from Gems.

“I thought we made a deal!” Gems shouted at Seth, while the latter just turned around and looked outside the window. “What was that all about!?” Gems asked but Seth just scoffed.

“Answer me! Bastard-”

“Watch that tone, you pest!” Seth spoke angrily as he immediately turned around and grabbed Gems by his neck. Gems was shocked at the sudden reaction. Seth pinned Gems on the wall and starred right into his soul. “Just because I am being nice with you, doesn't mean you get to talk like that!” Seth shouted.

Seth tightened his grip around Gems's neck. “Piss me off one more time, I will personally make sure it ends bad for not only your parents but for Gray as well.” Seth spoke in an intimidating tone. “Apologize.”

Gems's heartbeats increased as he heard the three people he loved the most getting called out. Gems couldn't risk anything.

“I- I'm sorry.” Gems mumbled.
