Gems was sprinting towards the exit, the route to the exit was imprinted in his mind, all thanks to the new spell that he had just executed, his job was done very easily.

‘Victory is mine.’ Gems thought.

But before Gems could go any further, he ran into the strongest person to have participated in that match, Erza Sacrlet. Gems immediately stopped in his tracks as he saw Erza standing there.

The crowd erupted with cheers when they saw Black Mask and Erza standing face to face.

“Seems like you have to get past me to move ahead.” Erza mumbled as she drew out her sword and got into a fighting stance. Gems cursed under his breathe, Gems didn't wanted to waste a single second and fumble his chances of winning this.

“You're wasting both, my time and yours as well.” Gems said calmly, not trying to look like he just got intimidated by Erza's presence. ‘I can beat Erza, I have to keep faith in myself, I have to believe in myself.’ Gems thought preparing himself for the fight.

“Looks I did intimidate you. Your body language tells me you're pretending to be someone that you are clearly not.” Erza said with a smile.

“Why are you trying so hard with me? What is it that you want with me?” Gems asked.

“Let's get to the point directly.” Erza spoke getting her sword back in the sheath. “Who are you?” she asked.

“I am Black Mask.”

“Yeah, no one here is going to buy that.”

Gems just put his hands in pocket, he had an annoyed smile behind that mask. He just walked past Erza without doing much.

“Hope we actually get to fight in the battle segments.” Gems mumbled while walking ahead. “See you soon, Tita-” Gems was about to say something but immediately stopped and halted in his tracks when he felt something pointy pricking on the back of his neck.

Gems rolled his eyes and took a deep breathe, it was Erza's sword. The crowd gasped at that.

“I have a strong feeling that you are connected to someone I hold very dearly in my life.” Erza spoke in a firm tone. “And that's why I am persistent in knowing who's under that mask.” she added.

Gems didn't say anything, he stayed quiet.

“The magic that you use, the way you speak, the way you walk... It reminds me of someone.” Erza said. “And I won't hesitate to destroy that mask and see it for myself who's actually under there.” Erza added.

Gems just laughed at that, and gradually his volume increased.

Erza got confused as she withdrew her sword, while Gems just turned around and faced Erza again. Gems just scoffed as he had his hands in the pockets of his long black coat.

“You're like that one mosquito that never goes away.” Gems mumbled under his breathe. “Bold of you to even think that I'll just remove my mask because you asked me to.” Gems said loudly.

“I have my ways.” Erza replied.

“Who do you think you are?” Gems asked as his tone changed a bit. “You walk around here like you're somebody, but let me tell you something...Miss Titania...” Gems spoke while looking at Erza.

“Huh?”

“You say you wanna fight me? You know what? You gotta start at the back of the line.” Gems said. “I mean who are you?” Gems scoffed while making fun of Erza, while Erza was itching to get that mask off.
