The Journey of Jake and Izzy

Issac's 11th birthday

Issac's POV

"Sweet I'm 11 years old!" I said as I got out of bed slowly grabbed my crutches and went into the kitchen to make myself some food.

"Whoa, hold it Issac let Jake make you breakfast." Dad told me as I sat down on the chair with my leg up.

"Gee thanks dad! Can you believe I'll be 13 in two years?" I questioned as he started to cook me my birthday breakfast without saying a word.

"Yeah, I can't believe it." Is all dad said.

"Dad, you OK?" I asked while clutching over to him.

"I'm fine." Dad replied as he set my plate on the table.

"I'll be back." Dad said as he left.

Izzy's POV

"Morning family! What a beautiful day. Morning Rosie, Morning Zack, Jasmine Daisy and my birthday son." I said as I walked into the dining room and saw Zack Daisy who was holding Jasmine hand come into the kitchen and eating cereal while Issac was having his 11th birthday breakfast.

"Uh, where's your father?" I wanted to know.

"He went back upstairs." Issac saidg as I went to go check on him.

"Issac watch your siblings." I told him as he nodded.

"Hey, Jake what's going on?" I questioned.

"Do you ever wish you could do it over again with Issac?" Jake asked.

"Are you scared about our son turning 13 in two years?" I exclaimed.

"Kind of. I mean, to be honest, all of this started with Issac being born. I know and look at our son he's a 11 years old now. He's going to be 12 next year and then the big 13 the following year." Jake explained.

"This is about to happen. We all knew this was coming." I told him.

"I don't want our son to change no mater how old he gets." Jake explained further.

"But Jake, he will have too anyways." I said while sitting in our bed next to him.

"I know. But dealing with a teenager in two years, that's going to be difficult." Jake told me.

"I understand, Jake. How do you think we felt when Cubby turned 13 years old all those years ago?" I questioned.

"Uh, excited." Jake answered.

"Exactly, so, let's be excited for our son, when he's 13." I told him.

"You're right Izzy." Jake said as we shared a kiss.

Issac's POV

As for my presents, I got two Camp Rock DVDs. The first and second Camp Rock 2 the final Jam movie DVD. I also got I microphone with a recorder type. The next thing I got was a full series of Austin and Ally DVD all four seasons. And I guess that's about it.

Jake's POV

"When did you have time to get our son, Two Camp Rock movies along with a full series of Austin and Ally on DVD? Also much did this cost?" I asked my wife.

"Here's the receipt." Izzy exclaimed while she was showing me the receipt.

"£2000." I said with my eyes wide open.

"Wow, mom thanks." Issac thanked her.

"Happy birthday Issac!" Izzy said as she bought the cake over, with our now 11 year old son blowing out his candles.
