today, i surprised joshua at his class.

my boss had given me a paid day off, so i decided to make the five mile journey to joshua's college.

and i don't have a car, so i walked.

i waited for two hours for his class to be let out, and when it was, he ran up as soon as he saw me and pressed a long kiss against my lips.

in front of everyone.

i couldn't help but grin.

he then said he would take me for coffee, to which i said 'ok.'

so we went to starbucks.

i ordered a small water, it being all i can afford.

joshua asked me if i was sure i didn't want something else.

after all, he was paying.

i told him no, just the free water was fine, and i sat down at a table.

we talked for about an hour, him wanting me to tell him about my day but i kept changing the subject.

i didn't want him to know how pathetic my day off was.

so i listened to him tell me about the project he was working on in one of his music classes.

he is partnered with a girl named emily.

emily.

he said emily was nice.

she better be.
