today, joshua couldn't come over.
he had to return to school.
unlike me, he was in college.
studying music.
a dream of mine.
he told me if he could switch our positions, he would.
i didn't respond then.
he said he would take the scholarship that read 'joshua william dun' and he would make it say 'tyler robert joseph.'
if he could.
but he can't.
it's ok, though. i'm used to it.
but today, i went to work.
i've taken on several extra shifts so i can pay for a gift for joshua.
i'm going to get him drum sticks.
while it may not be much, i think he will enjoy them.
he plays the drums.
he is remarkably talented.
though, as soon as i buy the drumsticks, i'll be out of money again.
but it's all worth it for joshua.
they are $200.
that is more money than i've seen in my lifetime.
but, it's for joshua.
i should have the money in a couple weeks.
then i can buy the gift for my love.
