today, i had work.
momma dun said i shouldn't quit just because josh was going to be there.
i think he saw me.
i tried to go to the bathroom when i heard him coming down the stairs, but he stopped right outside the door.
like he was going to tell me something.
but he didn't.
he continued walking.
he came to dinner.
neither of us said a word.
as soon as i finished, i hugged abi goodbye and told momma dun thank you, and walked home.
"why don't you drive him home?" i heard momma ask before i closed the front door.
i turned around to find josh putting his plate up and going upstairs.
he seemed frustrated.
