today, i went to work, joshua staying home because he was too sore to move.
so, i got to spend the day with both abbie and joshua.
abbie has gotten better about including josh in our lessons, actually sitting in his lap sometimes instead of mine the entire time i'm there. and i can tell that makes josh feel better about himself.
after we finished abbie's school work, she said she was going to go do art in her room, so josh and i were left alone.
"you need anything, handsome?" i asked, running my fingers through his hair and kissing his cheek.
"my beautiful boyfriend to kiss me," he pouted.
i giggled and kissed his lips for a solid minute, pulling back with a smile. "how's that?"
"more please."
"joshua, i need to make dinner for all you."
"kiss meeeeee."
so, i didn't end up surprising laura and bill with dinner tonight. instead, joshua and i made out on the couch.
whoops.
