today, i saw joshua.
and he saw me.
we said 'hello,' but continued on with our days.
though, he did smile at me as he left.
he even gave a tiny wave.
i stayed at dinner even after he showed up.
he said he liked my new shoes.
i told him thank you.
i said i would see him around.
he said he would as well.
then, i walked home.
alone in the cold.
but there was a warm feeling in my chest.
